@ruff de gehto travler yo family I know they did it has a joke but not with the flag the flag of any country is not a joke it is the national symbol of that country u can't play with people flag like that make joke about our accent our music and all but don't play with our flag that's a no no u don't go there

I must not see something !!!!!!!!! They were glorifying the Jamaican culture I agree with all of you but I think maybe if they used a different flag u guy's would probably look at it different if they  did it with a Guyana flag I would the same way. I think they were trying to save the flag from burning cause it ment that much to them it was special to them. I think personally it was a cultural misunderstanding and yes they did pull the add.

 

I did not see any anti Jamaican solicitation in the video and the fire started accidentally Jamaica is one of the islands in were a lot of other races embrace the music and culture and I do feel that maybe they were wrong for there humor but I really don't feel they ment anything by it. I really miss Ragashanti on radio I would love to hear what he has to say about this!!! Tamboreeeeen!!!!

@TallIslandGirl. I agree with you 100% Like I said in one of my Earlier post, why did they not use an Israeli flag as a way of showing respect to the Jews? They did not use that flag because of the past History of them being associated with Hitler and racism. I'm willing to bet if that flag had been used, It would be all over the news and in newspapers. It is possible that it did not mean to insult Jamaicans, but given their history, they should have thought twice. My Question is: Where are the critics of the VW commercial that were saying it was racist??? Shouldn't they be raising Hell over this one????

@ O g hold on !!!! When I watch the video okay I don't see people with torches screaming I hate JA with hate signs I see goofy ass White boys trying to make coffee and the flag accidently caught on fire ad as goofy white boys do tried to save the flag wrongly by stomping on it and the rest of the video showed how mad people would be if it did go viral !!!!! Not to mention they put a bigger JA flag down the side of a building IDK !!!! I see the point about the stomping an ting but I think JA and the Caribbean have bigger problems then that commercial!!!

All u guys that see nothing wrong with this let make a video the same way and used American flag and state what country u from see if uncle sam no come get u and send u back a u country, see if u keep u job to after them find out who u are.

I was discussing this with my yard friends yesterday and dem say it was wrong for the stomping but if u watch the whole video it shows dat !!!!! I say maybe they should have cut out the part there but the fire was accidental and they were trying to put it out!!!! I don't think they were trying to be offensive !!!! I just wish the anger set off by this will make the same anger go against the crime and violence not to mention the poverty of all caribbean nations
