Randomly harrassing people is not apart of the job. Being bord is not a reason to annoy anyone. Officers are supposed to have a reason to engage and must have a legitimate reason to ask you for your Identification, especially on private property. Unless someone called them, (which they should say when you ask why), they dont have automatic jurisdiction.

I do think the guy pushed his luck a bit telling them he has weapons though, that was stupid and ignorant, if one thing was different whether it was lighting, volume of cops, very few witnesses in the area, he may have been another dead blackman by the hands of police.

The only reason he was harassing dude, was because he was black.  He was minding his own business in his car, Officer asked did he have a room and they answer was yes.  Why did he need to see his i.d?

The only reason black dude didn't get shot because the white officers noticed his weapon card.. They wasn't sure what if he was another officer or someone else of importance!

Both parties were wrong,the officer could have explained why he was asking for I.D,,the guy seems like he had an. Attitude from the beginning.
