A woman in Alberta, Canada fell through a convenience store ceiling after trying to escape police.
The incident was caught on camera.
Moments before she surrendered to police, Brittany Burke, 29, fell right into the middle of a coffee aisle.
Owners of the Spruce Grove Reddi Mart said Burke was with a man identified by police as 28-year-old Richard Pariseau who tried to use a stolen credit card at their store Monday afternoon.
"When I heard 'boom,' she fell from the roof, here," said Bhagwant Chauhan, the store’s owner. "My husband tried to ask him, 'Is that your card?' He said, 'It's my girlfriend's card.' "
Chauhan said the couple was buying a soda for $4.39.
The store owners said they called police because the two seemed suspicious.
When an officer arrived, Pariseau pushed Burke toward him trying to flee.
That's when Chauhan's husband stepped in to help.
"I'm very proud of him," Chauhan said.
Burke went to the of the back of the store climbing into a ceiling vent before falling and crashing.
"It was scary," Chauhan said. "Because suddenly, you don't know. You're thinking the person is in the back but she's up on the roof. Thank god everybody is OK."
Eventually, backup arrived and the two are taken into custody.
Pariseau is facing 11 charges, including resisting arrest and using a stolen credit card.
Burke is charged with three counts including obstructing an officer, and mischief under $5,000.
