Good luck to her, she should have sued for more. What she should also do is have a clause put into her judgment after she wins her case giving her leave to sue for more if her post is taken by the one waiting in the background to snap it up like a preying mantis.  She has a spotless employment record but the district have treated her in a disgusting manner even to the point that she could not attend her child's graduation...why should that poor child have had to suffer because of some ignorance meted out towards her mother.  Race should not be used against someone but there again it is America so one shouldn't be surprised.  Either way it's still disgusting and I really do hope she wins every penny and more.

How the hell are they gonna ban a mom from her own child's graduation??  That kid has a right to have their parent come see them graduate regardless of their race!   The woman's child shouldn't have to suffer!!  When it comes to racism, black racists are just as bad as white racists!

I'm living my best life. Live yours. Life is too short to be petty and viscous. Direct that frustration towards doing something constructive.

I didn't finish reading your post because the first 2 sentences sent out I HAVE PERSONAL UNRESOLVED ISSUES in between the lines.

I don't wish bad on anyone but BLESSINGS and SAFETY. PERIOD

@Lu What is the need to have a debate with me? It makes no sense to even suggest it since neither of us are in charge of what these people are doing to the children in these school systems. I have nothing against you "living your best life", and I pray that God will allow you to continue to do so. I have *EVERYTHING* against these people who feel like their better interests and pockets should be served over the children they've supposedly "dedicated their careers to" when they took these positions.

You should've stayed on the side of understanding fellow mother with children who've also had to go through a school system that only cares about their numbers and not the future of these young people who they'd rather funnel into a system that treats children like a paycheck instead of our future.

I don't need a debate or sarcasm. I need someone who's not just going to talk about, but be about it and stand with me at the Board of Ed meetings and protests, even when our children have graduated - because you don't know if you're going to have grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on and so on down the line. Again, be blessed.

My sarcasm doesn't come from any understanding by no means necessary. Specifically, having raised a 28 yearold daughter and a 22 year old son. So my sarcastic comments stays the same ,especially since the changes that are needed will never suffice the separate division that white people and black people have faced for over 400 years. So please, my opinions need NO EXPLANATION. Unless you want it a one on one debate. No worries on my part, because I'm 100% that one. Please believe me. This platform here on the Caribbean News from day one has ALWAYS been each INDIVIDUAL'S opinion with no backlash or restrictions. So keep your personal resentments on your side of the world. I am and will always live MY BEST LIFE. PERIOD

@Lu I understand that some people may want to put a little snarkiness into a situation like this, but when my child's education and future, and our family and friends children, is on the line with this mess then I don't find anything funny about it. No sarcasm is necessary. Be blessed.

@Katlione. I was using sarcasm.

@Lu, this isn't a first. When I saw the title of this article, I thought it was about the new principal in our school district here in New Rochelle, NY. She has a similar lawsuit citing "Reverse Racism" from her previous position in NYC. Dr. Laura Feijoo. Not anywhere near a first...

Wow. That's a first for them. Compare that to over 400+ years of racism and bigotry from them.
