Which dancehall artiste is wanted on drugs charges in Michigan?

Jamaican artiste wanted in the US on drug charges

Jamaican reggae atriste wanted in thUS on drug charges

Obviously quoting from an unnamed source, Jamaica's morning paper, the Gleaner, is reporting that a popular Jamaican dancehall artiste is wanted in Michigan, United States, on drug related allegations.

A law enforcement officer said the entertainer, who has had several hit songs is also wanted on at least two warrants.

The singjay, who is one of the top-ranked artistes in the dancehall is also a green card holder.

The officer said he is not the only Jamaican entertainer being sought by the US on drug-related allegations.

The latest information comes against the background of a recent statement made by head of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Assistant Commissioner Ealan Powell, that a number of entertainers have popped up on the police radar and will be arrested soon.

Powell’s comment came shortly after the arrest of controversial dancehall star, Adidja Palmer, who goes by the stage name ‘Vybz Kartel’.

Well unfortunately this is what the dancehall culture has become. Full of drug dealers and murderers. The people who we once respected turned out to be a mess. Look at Buju, Ninja Man.. When you listen to "Driver" by Buju he talks about what he been doing. Rasta wouldn't use the cocaine but he would sure sell it and mess up his own people. Kartel is just a well articulated killer. He has assaulted people before. There is a lot in a name "Kartel"...I miss the days when dancehall artist had some morality and consciousness left about them. Now I don't even support it especially since a lot of the old timers became a big disappointment with their behaviour and these new one show nothing but thug mentality. That's the culture of Jamaican dancehall today.

Here we go again, another  criminal news report being quoted from an "unnamed source" in Jamaica,  speaking about an unknown famous person (no name listed again) that allegedly committed a crime and wanted by US law enforcement.  So these entertainers and famous DJ are so powerful that they are untouchable by name?  BS journalism.

I believe the govt is just putting info out there just to draw out some informers. If they had real proof, they would of locked someone up already.

From the description , that its a singjay and hold a us Green Card That sounds like Demarco. I hope its not him because he seems to be very decent and coming out with some hot songs since lately.
