Wendy Williams Hospitalized for Mental Breakdown, Suicidal [According to Report]

Wendy Williams pauses talk show after battling fatigue from Graves' disease

The mental health of Wendy Williams has been called into question by fans and online blogs, as reports about her being hospitalized after suffering a mental breakdown and being suicidal continue to spread like wildfire.

While Wendy’s camp has not responded to the rumors, vlogger Tasha K claims Williams was hospitalized under a different name at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in the neurology ward with her room being heavily guarded by security, per Gossip On This

“She does not have her wig on. Her head is shaved in certain sections because they’re monitoring her brain.

“She is talking to herself. She won’t eat. She won’t drink. Barely will sleep. Pacing around. She is losing her mind. She’s suicidal. This is not allegedly, you guys.”

Watch/hear Tasha K tell it via the clip above.

Tasha says Williams’ breakdown is partly caused by her divorce from “the love of her life” (ex hubby Kevin Hunter), and that her son is siding with his father in his parents’ divorce.

Tasha K. told viewers of her popular YouTube channel that she has more tea to spill about this sensitive matter, and will do so in a four-part series.

Meanwhile, Williams appeared to address allegations of a breakdown and hospitalization by posting a paparazzi photo on Instagram showing her walking with a newspaper featuring a photo of the recent police brutality protest, proving she’s not laid up in a hospital.

“I needed my stuff before NYC dark. Black lives have ALWAYS mattered. #blacklivesmatter #NYPD #Peace,” the post was captioned.

However, some of her IG followers pointed to a noticeable bruise on her hand and determined that she recently had an IV attached.

Last month, a spokesperson for “The Wendy Williams Show” announced that Williams was taking a break from filming her show due to “fatigue” from Graves’ disease complications

Wendy Williams is taking a break from her daytime talk show to receive treatment for a previously announced health condition.

Williams has been experiencing fatigue because of symptoms from Graves’ disease, a spokesperson for The Wendy Williams Show said Monday.

As a precautionary measure, the spokesperson said, Williams is taking time off from the show that she’s been taping remotely from her home in New York City during the pandemic.

“We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the Wendy@Home shows,” according to a statement from the show. No return date has been announced.

Reruns of Williams’ show will air during her absence.

In 2018, Williams announced that she had Graves’ disease, which leads to the overproduction of thyroid hormones and can cause wide-ranging symptoms and affect overall health.

Her show stopped production for several weeks at that time, and it was on hiatus again early last year as Williams dealt with the disorder and a shoulder injury.

In October 2017, Williams fainted on stage during her show, saying later she became overheated while wearing a bulky Halloween costume.
