'We only shoot black people': Shocking moment Georgia cop tries to calm nervous woman during traffic stop by telling her it's ok to move her hands because she is white {VIDEO}
A Georgia cop has been placed on administrative duties, pending an internal investigation after video surfaced of a July of 2016 DUI traffic stop, where he tries to calm a nervous white driver be telling her she didn't need to worry because police only kill African Americans.
The woman told Lt. Greg Abbott that she was afraid to reach for the mobile phone in her lap because she had seen too many videos of motorists being shot by cops.
"But you're not black. Remember, we only kill black people," Abbott responds. "Yeah. We only kill black people, right? All the videos you've seen, have you seen white people killed?"
The video was obtained by WSB-TV through an open records request.
"We saw the video and we're going to deal with it," Cobb County Chief Mike Register told WSB. "No matter what context it was said in, it should not have been said."
Abbott's attorney responded to the video via a statement to TMZ: "He was attempting to de-escalate a situation involving an uncooperative passenger. In context, his comments were clearly aimed at attempting to gain compliance by using the passenger's own statements and reasoning to avoid making an arrest.”

A police lieutenant in Georgia has been moved to administrative duty after being heard on video during a traffic stop saying 'we only shoot black people.'
Dash-cam video from a DUI traffic stop in July 2016 shows a white female passenger telling Cobb County police Lt. Greg Abbott she was scared to move her hands in order to get her cellphone because she didn't want to get shot, WSB reported.
Abbott interrupts her and says, 'But you're not black. Remember, we only shoot black people.
'All the videos you've seen, have you seen the black people get killed?'
Cobb County police chief Mike Register said Abbott will remain on administrative duty pending an investigation, and that 'no matter what context it was said, it shouldn't have been said.'

Abbott's attorney, Lance LoRusso, said in a statement Abbott is cooperating with the investigation, and that his comments were meant to 'de-escalate a situation involving an uncooperative passenger.'
'Lt. Greg Abbott is a highly respected 28-year veteran of the Cobb County Police Department,' LoRusso said in a statement.
'He is cooperating with the department's internal investigation and will continue to do so.
'His comments must be observed in their totality to understand their context.

Register said that Abbott had been a good officer and that he had not received any racial bias complaints.
'We're not making excuses. We're meeting this head-on and we're going to deal with it,' Register, who was not police chief during the time of the incident, told WSB.
'We are going to keep going forward to make sure we, as a police department, service the community in a most professional way -- all segments of the community.'
The attorney for the driver during the traffic stop, Suri Chadha Jimenez, said he believes the officer's response was sarcastic because the woman, 'gave him some lip,' but nonetheless said, 'it makes you cringe when you hear it. It's unacceptable.'
The charges against the driver were dropped and the charges against the female passenger in the video were resolved, Jimenz told DailyMail.com

The white race already fear being exterminated, so they shoot and kill blacks. They want to bring us with them! They feel killing a black here or there will solve the issue. That's not going to solve anything, because for every black person killed, a hundred more blacks are being born. We're multiplying more faster than we're dying. White people are dying more faster than they're multiplying.
Even though he was telling the truth, it's something to hear one of their own actually admitting to it, because that is something cops normally don't do is admit it!!
