After a Virginia waitress didn’t receive a tip from a couple she served simply because of her race, other people have rallied to her support after her story went viral.
On Saturday, Kelly carter served a white couple but received this handwritten note instead of a tip: “Great service don’t tip black people.”
She said she was surprised, because the couple seemed like normal patrons and even complimented the mean. “The lady was saying they loved the potpie meal,” Carter said.
Tommy Tellez, Sr., the owner of Anita’s New Mexico Style Café in Ashburn said that Carter is a popular waitress there. Customers will often ask to be seated in her section and tip her generously, offering hugs as well.
“She has a following,” he said. “Her philosophy for customer service is way beyond the norm — and we’re really happy to have her.”
Carter was surprised by the note but won’t let it stop her from continuing her philosophy of customer service.
“He didn’t hurt me, he only hurt himself — he only makes me stronger,” she said.
She added that she wouldn’t have a problem serving the customers again. “Just me serving them will let them know they did not get the best of me — and I truly mean that.”

It seem that white people are getting bold and this might get them hurt if they keep going this way.
concious1....salute to your way of thinking...for it is reality! These are people NEVER to be trusted...for they turn on you quicker than the frog helping carry the scorpion! THEY WOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR MY ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! They feel they're owed our respect....and for what? Peace!
It's fine not to tip a person for whatever reason. The scary thing about this incident is, the individuals appear to be very amicable on the surface - but within, the racial hatred rages.
Imagine having 70% of this mentality in your work environment, people with racial hatred but pretend to be nice.
freaking red neck, nothing good gonna come to them ... they are working in the spirit of the devil.
