Vybz Kartel Biopic Movie Coming Soon 
Vybz Kartel wins Court Appeal and receives $2 Million Bail. The incarcerated entertainer is reportedly happy for the results of the appeal as well the BAIL.
The entertainer and his co-accused had filed preliminary grounds for appeal when they filed their notice of appeal in April, shortly after their conviction and sentence.
Among the grounds are unfair trial, miscarriage of justice and lack of evidence.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahria Jones and Andre St John were sentenced to life imprisonment for the August 16, 2011 murder of friend Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
Williams was beaten to death at a house owned by Palmer, in Havendale, St Andrew, over the disappearance of two illegal gangs. His body has not been found.
In voice notes played for the jurors in the 65-day long trial in the Home Circuit Court, Kartel said that Williams’ body was chopped up “fine-fine like mincemeat”.
Kartel is to serve 35 years in prison before he becomes eligible for parole. Campbell and Jones are to serve 25 years before becoming eligible for parole, while St John is to become eligible for parole after serving 30 years of his sentence. 
The men were convicted on March 13. A fourth accused, Shane Williams, was found not guilty by the 11-member jury.

Caribbean Fever EXCLUSIVE: Vybz Kartel's Lawyer Is Confident That Kartel Will Be "Free & Clear" {AUDIO}
Vybz Kartel could be the first big name dancehall artist to release a biopic.
Sources close to the incarcerated dancehall deejay told Urban Islandz exclusively that his team is working on a Vybz Kartel movie. The biopic will chronicle his life post dancehall stardom growing up in Portmore leading up to getting his big break as Bounty Killer protege.
“If there is any biopic coming out of dancehall it would be that of Vybz Kartel,” sources told us. “The script is already being written and as soon as it get the stamp of approval from Vybz then casting and filming will take place.”
The big question here is who will act as Vybz Kartel? The first person that comes to mind is his look-a-like that Spice cast in her “Conjugal Visit” music video last year. But he doesn’t have any acting experience.
Sources also told us that the movie is tentatively title Vybz Kartel and could be released later this year or early next year.
Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, started his career in the early 1990s while he was a teenager under the stage name Adi Banton. Buju Banton was his favorite artist at the time.
It wasn’t until the early 2000s that Vybz Kartel became a dancehall sensation as a protege of Bounty Killer in his Alliance crew. Following a string of hits in 2003 and an impromptu clash with Ninja Man at Sting that lead to an onstage brawl, Vybz Kartel then became a household name in dancehall. He also proclaimed to have written over 30 songs for Bounty Killer.
In 2006 Vybz Kartel departed the Bounty Killer lead Alliance to form his own group Portmore Empire and that triggered one of the biggest feuds in dancehall history the Gully/Gaza rivalry against his former group member Mavado. That infamous feud lead to a clash at Sting 2008. But the rise of tension among young fans of both sides lead the Jamaican government to broker a truce between the two deejays.
In 2010, Vybz Kartel stirred up more controversy with his skin bleaching. During an interview on OnStage, he told Winford Williams that he was just using cake soap to tone his skin.
But the biggest challenge of his career would come in September 2011 when he was arrested and slapped with two murder charges. He was found not guilty in the first trial but was not so fortunate in his second trial, which is dubbed the longest murder trial in Jamaica’s history.
Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence and will not be eligible for parole until 35 years.

Kartel Murder Trial: Public Defender Subpoena To Hand Over Witness Letter
Kartel murder trial in the Home Circuit circuit is winding down. A verdict could be reached as early as Friday if there are no delays.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. He is jointly charged for Williams’ murder along with Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams.
Police say Williams was murdered over a missing illegal firearm that belong to Vybz Kartel. His body or the missing gun was not found.
Officers say Kartel and his co-accused beat Williams to death on August 16, 2011 at a house in Havendale, St. Andrew.
Yesterday, government forensic scientist Sharon Bryson testified in court that the DNA from the blood sample police found at the house did not match the DNA of Williams uncle Daniel Williams. However, she confirmed the blood belong to a human male.
Bryson told the court that it is possible that both men are not related from Clive Williams father side, hence the DNA test is inconclusive.
Police Corporal Shawn Howard also took the witness stand to testified about his handling of key evidence in the case.
Under cross-examination from defense lawyers, Howard told the court that he did not obtained a search warrant to confiscate Vybz Kartel’s cellphones or search his property.

Kartel Trial: Key Witness Admit To Lying, Testimony Crumbling
Kartel murder trial continued yesterday in the Home Circuit court in Kingston where the prosecution star witness wrapped up his testimony.
Defense lawyer Tamika Harris grilled the witness, whose testimony has not been holding up under pressure by lawyers representing the co-accused.
But the major development in the case on Monday was the appearance of Public Defender Earl Witter, who was subpoena to hand over a letter allegedly sent to him from the trial’s main witness in November of 2011.
According to reports, the witness wrote the letter and sent it to the Public Defender after he allegedly say he saw Clive Williams after the attack had took place.
The witness Lamar Chow has denied that he saw Williams and also denied sending the letterto the Public Defender.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is jointly charged along with protege Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

Vybz Kartel Trial: Prosecution Star Witness Gave Shocking Testimony and Said Deejays Wanted Him To Leave Jamaica

On Thursday and Friday of this week, the prosecution witness came under pressure from the defense attorneys representing Vybz Kartel and his co-accused.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. The dancehall star is jointly charged along with protege Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams.
This week the prosecution introduced their star witness Lama Chow to the stand where he gave some damning testimony.
According to Chow, Vybz Kartel and his co-accused murdered his friend Lizard and attempted to give him the same fate before he escaped.
Attorney Pierre Rodgers, who is representing Kartel’s co-accused Kahira Jones, questioned Lamar Chow about his handling of an illegal firearm believed to be belonging to Vybz Kartel on the day he and Clive Williams were allegedly attacked at a house in Havendale.
Chow denied having the gun on the day in question, August 16, 2011. When pressed further, the key witness again denied handling of the gun, not knowing whats coming next.
Rodgers then asked Chow to read a paragraph from the official statement he gave to police.
One of the sentence from the script reads, “Bandit take out a gun from the back of his waist and give it to me.”
Lamar Chow then nervously admitted that someone handed him the gun and he had told officers that he did handled the firearm.
However, he said he was not lying in his statement because the gun was handed to him when he went home in the night after the attack had took place.
Chow told the court that a man name Bandit gave him the gun to lock (hide), which he later buried.
The prosecution key witness, Lamar Chow, also told the court this week that Vybz Kartel and Shawn “Storm” Campbell bought a plane ticket for him to fly to Guyana with them two days after the attack because they did not want him to be questioned by anyone about the incident.
Attorney Miguel Lorne, who is representing Shawn Storm, also took a shot at the star witness, grilling him about the plane ticket he testified about.
Chow told the court that a ticket was purchased for him when he got to the airport, however, he told the police in his official statement that the ticket was not purchased when he got to the airport.
When asked which of the statement is true, Chow said the ticket was already bought.
“So you tell the police a lie?” the attorney grilled the witness.
Lamar Chow, who is now the center of the murder trial, also denied allegations by the defense attorneys that he fabricated the story with the help of police officers to avoid being charge with murder and possession of an illegal firearm.
Chow also denied that he had written a letter to the public defender expressing that he does not want to go to court because he had seen Clive Williams after the alleged attack took place.
The trial continues on Monday.

Vybz Kartel was back in the Jamaican High court on Wednesday to continue his high profile murder trial.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is on trial for the alleged murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. He is jointly charged with Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams.
Yesterday the prosecution main witness, Lamar Chow, continued his damning testimony, giving details on what happened after he and the victim were attacked at a house in Havendale on August 16, 2011.
Vybz Kartel’s attorney grilled Chow on the witness stand telling him that he didn’t entered the house and that the dog attacked him outside before Kartel tried to rescue him and was then bitten by the dog.
Tavares-Finson then said that was the reason why Chow accompanied Vybz Kartel to the hospital. But the witness stand firmed to his story.
During his testimony on Wednesday, Chow told the court that on August 17, 2011, a day after the alleged attacked took place, Shawn Storm called him and invited him to go to Guyana because he did not want him to talk to anybody about what took place.
Chow said he agreed, but told Storm that he had no suitcase, to which the dancehall star told him he would get him one to which he did. He said a few days later he got a call from Shawn Storm Campbell telling him to get ready to go and the two later took a taxi to the airport. He said the taxi was the same one that took him, Clive Williams and Shawn Storm to Havendale earlier that week.
The star witness said when he arrived at the airport he was greeted by Vybz Kartel, Moonie, and Sheba. He then told the court that they never got to go on the flight because it had already departed.
Chow said he was told to go home and return the Thursday morning but when he went back to Waterford, Portmore the Wednesday night he called his family to come take him out the community.
He said he never returned to the aiport the Thursday morning, and when contacted by Shawn Storm he told him that he was not going to Guyana with them. Chow told the court that Vybz Kartel also called him and ask him to come to Guyana because he didn’t want him to tell anyone what took place.
Chow will be taking the witness stand again today where the defense attorneys will continue their cross-examination.
If convicted, the accused men could face up to 25 years in prison.

Defense attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson, cross-examined the prosecution star witness Lamar Chow. Tavares-Finson asked attempted to discredit Chow’s testimony by insinuating that he was not in the house.
However, Chow insisted that he was there and saw everything.

Fashion designer/stylist Calvin “Moonie” Haye was one of five other men jointly charged with Vybz Kartel for Clive Williams murder.
After two years in and out of jail, the prosecution dropped the charge against Haye due to lack of evidence.
How can this affect the case?
The defense attorneys can argue that the prosecution does not know what they are doing after keeping Haye on a serious murder charge for two years only to set him free due to lack of evidence.
Popular Senior Superintendent of police Cornwall ‘Bigga’ Ford took the witness stand and was grilled by the defense attorneys about the arrest statement. Ford told the courts that he did not complete the official statement until it was requested on December 14, 2011. Vybz Kartel was arrested on September 30, 2011.
Ford also said he lost his notepad with the original notes sometime between late December and early January during a relocation of the flying squad offices.
The defense attorneys also accused the senior officer leaking details the arrest to the press.
How can this affect the case?
The defense attorneys can argue that the statement was tampered with. Regarding the strong media presence on the day of Vybz Kartel’s arrest, the defense can say that was a ply by the police force to prejudice the case.

Forensic investigator testimony
Forensic investigator Avrel Thomas took the witness stand and told the court that he saw blood stain at the home in Havendale where Clive Williams was allegedly murdered on August 16, 2011.
How can this affect the case?
This revelation may not have any significant effects on the outcome of the trial unless DNA test from that bloodstain proved to be that of the victim. So far we don’t know but the trial is far from over.
Clive Williams’ sister took the witness stand on Wednesday and Thursday where she recalled seeing her brother looking uneasy two days before his disappearance. She broke down on the witness stand while being questioned by the defense attorneys about the details of what occured leading up to August 16, 2011. The lawyers showed her some compassion and not ask her too many questions.
She said she gave him $3000 two days before his disappearance to ran away from the Portmore community. She said she just wanted to know if her brother is still alive.
How can this affect the outcome of the case?
Simple, her testimony is enough to work on the jurors emotions and that could be bad for the defense.
The trial is scheduled to run from November 18 to December 6. Still two weeks to go and a lot can happen during that time.

Day four of Vybz Kartel’s trial adjourned on Thursday evening in the Home Circuit court in Kingston.
Today’s precedings saw the cross examination by Clive Williams’, the victim in the case, sister.
Superintendent of police Cornwall Ford took the witness stand and recount what happened on the day Vybz Kartel was arrested on September 30, 2011.
Ford told the court that he took four cellphones from Vybz Kartel and handed them over to another police officer.
Deputy Superintendent of police Winston Henderson also took the witness stand he was instructed by Superintendent Cornwall Ford to assemble a team of law enforcement officials and get a warrant to search Vybz Kartel’s upscale home in Norbrook.
Henderson says they found 12 passports in various names along with 10 cellphones. He told the court that when they went to the home in Havendale it was burnt down. He said they also did another raid on another home in Portmore but nothing was found.
Initial reports at the time of Vybz Kartel’s arrest claimed that police seized a number of equipments including laptops from one of the home they believed belong to the dancehall star.

God the Father

(1 John 1:7) Today Jesus resides in heaven as the mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5-6) Soon Jesus will catch away his beloved church to be with him in heaven, so that they will be spared from the horrible outpouring of God’s wrath known as “the Great Tribulation”. (1 Corinthians 15:51-55 & 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18) After this 7 year period of tribulation, Jesus will return to this earth to judge the nations (Matthew 25). Then Jesus will rule and reign PHYSICALLY in Jerusalem for 1,000 years, after which He will judge Satan and ALL of the unsaved living and dead at the Great White Throne Judgment. (Revelation 20:11-15)
The Holy Ghost
We believe that the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the Godhead. He is “omnipresent” meaning everywhere at ALL times. It is the Holy Ghost or “Spirit” that indwells the body of a believer in Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:19) Evidence of the Holy Spirit in a believer is an understanding of the truth of God’s word (John 15:26 & John 16:13) and a oneness of thought among saved individuals. (1 Corinthians 1:10) We do NOT believe in theJewish sign gifts (1 Corinthians 1:22 & Hebrews 2:3-4) of speaking in tongues, prophesying, and healing for this time period. (Acts 2 & 1 Corinthians 14) We believe that those who manifest such “gifts” show their ignorance of the scriptures, and make a mockery of Christianity.
Man as a “tripartite” being
We believe that sinful man can never become a god or God. The bible does however teach that man is created in God’s image. (Genesis 1:26-27) In other words, man is made up of three aspects, Body, Soul, and Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23) Our Body is the physical body of flesh that each of us is given at birth. This body is corruptible. It will grow old, die, rot, and return to the earth. (Isaiah 40:6) We believe that ALL true believers will one day be given an incorruptible body of eternally perfect flesh. This will happen at the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:35-50)
Our soul is eternal, but unlike God the Father, our soul was created and was NOT eternally existing. It is the soul that will live forever with God in heaven, or with Satan in Hell.
Finally our spirit is made alive or “quickened” when we are born again. (Ephesians 2:1-6) Before salvation, your spirit is dead in trespasses and sins. This is why understanding of scripture is impossible without being saved. “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14) A saved man or woman is given the Holy Spirit as their guide and comforter. (John 15:26 & John 16:13)
Eternal Security of a truly born-again Christian
We believe that once an individual receives the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit comes into them, that they can NOT lose their salvation. The first reason for this is because salvation comes from God (it is the “gift of God”). (Ephesians 2:8-9) It is NOT based on YOUR good works! (Titus 3:5) If you have been led to believe that you can lose your salvation, then you must also believe that YOU must work hard to keep your salvation! This warped way of thinking comes from self-righteousness. (Please read Romans 10:2-4) The bible also says that a saved individual is “sealed unto the day of redemption” by the holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:30 & 1:13)
The KING JAMES VERSION is God’s perfect word in English.
1. It has the largest support of the ancient manuscripts and church fathers. Over 95% of all Greek manuscripts support the KJV. Over 2/3 of all ancient church father quotations also support the KJV.
2. It has out sold ALL other books ever printed in the history of mankind. (Over 6 Billion since 1611!) If it isn’t God’s word, then why has it prospered so much more then any other book or bible for that matter?
3. No other religious book (including the original autographs) has ever come close to producing the spiritual fruit (Luke 6:43 -44) that the KING JAMES VERSION has produced in less than 400 years.
