Megan Thee Stallion Cries While Recalling Tory Lanez Telling Her To ‘Dance B****’ Before Shooting Her

On CBS MORNINGS, music megastar Megan Thee Stallion sat down exclusively with co-host Gayle King for her first TV interview addressing the 2020 shooting allegedly involving rapper Tory Lanez. Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty to assault and weapons charges related to the shooting. In addition, the three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper opened up about her late parents, rise to fame and how her life has changed since the incident.
Excerpts: – On her argument and alleged shooting incident with Tory Lanez:
MEGAN THEE STALLION: The arguing in the car is getting worse. And I don’t want to be in this car anymore. Like, ’cause I see it’s getting crazy. So I get out of the car and it’s like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming. And he said, “Dance, b****.” And he started shooting. And I’m just like, “Oh, my God.” Like, he shot a couple of times. And I– I was so scared–.
GAYLE KING: So is he in the car shooting from the car, Megan? How is he–
MEGAN THEE STALLION: He is standin’ up over the window shooting. And I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick. Like, ’cause I’m like, “Oh, my God. If I take the wrong step, I don’t know if he’s gonna shoot something that’s, like, super important. I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me.”
GAYLE KING: Were you afraid for your life at that time?
MEGAN THEE STALLION: I was really scared ’cause I had never been shot at before. And I looked down at my feet, ’cause I wasn’t even– the adrenaline is pumpin’ so hard. I’m not sure if he hit me. Like, I feel it. But I don’t understand what’s happening. So I looked down at my feet. I’m like, “Oh, my God.” Like, I’m really bleeding. So I, like, drop down and I crawl in somebody’s driveway. Like, I can’t believe he shot me.

TORY LANEZ HANDCUFFED IN COURT ... For Violating Order in Meg Thee Stallion Case
American rapper Megan Thee Stallion gave an emotional insight into the alleged 2020 shooting by ex-boyfriend and singer Tory Lanez that left her nursing a bullet wound to the foot.
At the beginning of the video, she detailed that the shooting occurred because she wanted to leave a party before the friends she was with were ready. This she said developed into an argument and led to Lanez retaliating with a gun.
“So I get out of the car, and everything just happened so fast. All I hear this man screaming is, ‘dance, b****,’ and he starts shooting, and I’m just like ‘oh my God’ like he shot a couple of times,” she said as she tried to hold back tears.
Tory Lanez whose real name is Daystar Peterson was charged in October 2020 for shooting Megan Pete o/c Megan Thee Stallion. The accused is expected to be in court for a hearing in June 2022 before the start of his trial in September 2022.
If convicted, Tory Lanez faces a maximum sentence of about 23 years.
In a recently released clip ahead of the full interview scheduled for Monday, April 25 on ‘CBS Mornings’, the Grammy-award winner broke down in tears as she recalled when Lanez yelled the words “Dance b****” before firing at her.
The judge said Tory's tweet, where he directly addressed Meg as "U" was a violation of a protective order -- he's not supposed to contact or mention her at all. Tory fired off that tweet back in February when he said, "Good d*** had me f***ing 2 best friends ... and I got caught ... that's what I apologized for ... it's sick how u Spun it tho ..."
Prosecutors also voiced concern about a tweet from DJ Akademiks from February which read, "BREAKING: It was revealed in court few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case."
The prosecution believes that info was given to Ak from Tory's team. However, Tory's attorney, Shawn Holley, said that wasn't possible, because DJ Akademiks's initial tweet was wrong ... Tory's DNA wasn't on the magazine, and a sample from the gun was inconclusive.
About 15 minutes after posting his initial tweet, Ak posted a new one which reflected the inconclusive finding.
Of course, this all pertains to Tory's felony assault case ... stemming from charges that he allegedly fired a gun in her direction and caused her great bodily harm, to which he's pled not guilty.

Lying ass ratchet. Running to black man hating, Gayle King, I hope when he is found not guilty, he sue both her and CBS, for defamation. The court block him from talking about what happened but she runs on CBS, to produce crocodile tears, knowing he can't clap back.
He did not mention, her name ,he referred her in the second person "U" and had is bail taken away. Hungry ass prosecutor , want 5 million bail, he will get his bail money, leave her name off social media, let the court handle that bullshit.
