Three cops arrested after video of man being killed is leaked to TVJ News...(Watch Video) at the bottom of the BLOG

THREE policemen who were caught on video killing an unarmed man are now behind bars.

The cops were ordered arrested yesterday by Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington following last night's broadcast by TVJ of footage showing a shooting incident in Buckfield, St Ann.

The amateur video shows policemen beating and shooting to death Ian 'Ching Sing' Lloyd as he lay on the ground unarmed and subdued. Lloyd had been accused of earlier attacking and killing Loveta 'Cherry' Wilson, at her home in Buckfield.

An officer was overheard telling the writhing man to 'Go inna the jeep' while raining down blows from a baton. In trying to ward off the blows Lloyd grasped for stones and tossed them in the direction of the uniformed officer who was beating him.

Another plainclothes cop then walked up to the spot where Lloyd lay and waited until he took up a stone and attempted to hurl before firing a single shot in his upper body.

Investigators from the Bureau of Special Investigations have interviewed one of the arrested policemen. The other arrested policemen will be interviewed during the course of this weekend, police report.

Prior to the broadcast the Constabulary Communications Network had reported that lloyd was killed after he attacked officers with bottles and stones, but seconds after the airing, Ellington ordered the arrest of the cops involved and placed a stop order on them at all ports of exit...

The people in the community know what he did thats why they were cheering the officer on to shoot him. The man in question was in a shop and decided that he was going to kill someone today. It was a random act of violence on any person that was within his reach. He tried to kill other people as well. There is too much violence in Jamaica period. But until we come up with a better way of dealing with each other violence is the order of the day. How can Bad Man Respect Police if police nah deal with them accordingly. You think Bad Man scared of police? Not at all. Police dem supposed to be afraid of Bad Man then who will keep the peace. Something has to give. The majority of people don,t condone police shooting innocent civilians who are unarmed, But in an environment where things are out of control the police is the last line of defense between Choas and any form of Civility. YOU JUST CAN,T WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND SAY YOU A GONNA KILL SOMEBODY TODAY. That statement goes for the police as well as the average citizen. In a twist i am not blind to police violence on innocent youth when a cop shoot an innocent unarmed youth for no reason those same police need to be dealt with accordingly.

THE OFFICER'S LIFE WAS NOT THREATENED AT ALL. THE SUSPECT WAS DOWN ON THE GROUND, JUST ROLLING AROUND. WHY NOT DO YOUR JOB AND HANDCUFF HIM SO HE WON'T THROW ROCKS AT YOU? IT'S A SIMPLE TASK!

Police officers are never held accountable for their actions here. I hope these three rot in prison, I am sick and tired of their god complex.

It's about time the justice system start doing their job or lets see how far this go, because i still don't trust them wicked police here one bit lets see if a judge is gonna set them free because this is cold blooded murder

He shows absolutely no remorse for what he did, he just walked over to the man and shot him straight up and watch him die. It seemed as if it was the plan all along i don't see any of them trying to arrest him all they were doing is beating him.
