Gun George Zimmerman Used To Kill Trayvon Martin Sells For 120K {VIDEO}
George Zimmerman was apparently in fear for his life over the weekend after being confronted by someone heard him bragging about killing Trayvon Martin.
The NY Post reports that Zimmerman was at Gators Riverside restaurant in Sanford, Florida, having a conversation about Martin when a guy approached his table.
“You’re bragging about that?" the guy said, before punching him in the face knocking off his glasses.
Zimmerman called 911 to report the assault.
“He recognized me,” Zimmerman told dispatchers. “He told me he was going to kill me he told me he’d f*cking shoot me and he punched me in the face. He said he’s going to kill me. You need to send like three or four cops."
Witnesses at the restaurant confirmed his story, but said he asked for it.
According to WFTV, the altercation began when Zimmerman was overheard telling someone, “I love your tattoos. My name is George Zimmerman, you know, that guy who killed Trayvon Martin?”
The man who punched him could face charges.

'They didn't raise their son right and tried to capitalize on his death': Remorseless George Zimmerman lashes out at Trayvon Martin's parents in brutal interview
A winning bid of $120,000 has been made to purchase the gun used to kill Trayvon Martin.
It took George Zimmerman three tries to sell the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm. He initially listed it for auction last week on GunBroker.com. The website removed it before bidding began.
The weapon was then posted on United Gun Group, but the auction was flooded with trolls with names like "Racist McShootFace" and "Ted Cruz," who submitted fake bids topping $65 million.
TMZ reports that United Gun Group then added a private email verification to sift out the fake bids and re-listed it. A total of 7 verified bidders participated in the auction.
The sale will be finalized once the process of "vetting several offers and verifying funds" is completed said Zimmerman.

George Zimmerman Puts Gun Used To Kill Trayvon Martin Up For Auction. Calls It An "American Firearm Icon" *UPDATE* Auction Website Halts Sale (Video)
George Zimmerman has hit out at Trayvon Martin's parents in a remorseless interview about the 17-year-old black boy he killed.
His words come just days after the former neighborhood watch volunteer tried to auction off the gun he used to take Martin's life in 2012.
'They didn't raise their son right,' Zimmerman told the Daily Beast. 'He attacked a complete stranger and attempted to kill him.'
He continued: 'Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin did everything they could to capitalize on her son's death.

'She was never a mother figure to him. Tracy Martin couldn't have cared less about their son. He treated him like a dog without a leash.'
Zimmerman was controversially acquitted of murder charges in 2013.
He shot Martin on February 26, 2012, after calling police because he thought the hooded teenager looked suspicious.
Before police arrived, Zimmerman had followed Martin and shot him dead.
Reflecting on the case, which sent shockwaves through the nation, Zimmerman told the Daily Beast on Thursday: 'Sure I'm sorry for any parent that has lost a child.'
But he added: 'That being said, I also believe it's their duty to have an internal dialogue to see what they should have done better and what they should have done appropriately.'
Zimmerman made two attempts to sell his Kel-Tec PF9 9mm handgun online last week.
The listing, which described the gun as 'an American firearm icon', first appeared on UnitedGunGroup.com last week with a starting price of $5,000.
Zimmerman said he planned to lock it in a safe to give to his grandchildren if the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm didn't sell
Zimmerman had sparked outrage on social media last week when he offered to sell the Kel-Tec PF9 9mm handgun, which he described 'an American firearm icon' that he had used to defend his life against Martin
Early Friday, the bidding surpassed $65 million with the leading bidder using the screen name 'Racist McShootFace' before a person named Craig Bryant overtook the bidding on UnitedGunGroup.com (above)
It was soon removed after the auction was hijacked by trolls using the names 'Racist McShootFace', 'Donald Trump,' and 'shaniqua bonifa', who pushed the bidding to $65 million.
He then re-listed the item on the same website with a starting price of $100,000 to run from 9am ET on Tuesday until noon on Wednesday.
Buyers will also have the option to 'buy it now' for $500,000.
United Gun Group owner Todd Underwood told CNN on Monday that the website would continue to facilitate lawful sales despite the criticism it has faced for allowing Zimmerman to list his gun.
In the listing, Zimmerman wrote: 'Prospective bidders, I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon.
'The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012.'
Critics called the auction an insensitive move to profit from the slaying.
Zimmerman told the Daily Beast he cherishes the item.
'It is what was used to save my life from a near-death brutal attack by Trayvon Martin,' Zimmerman said of the gun. 'If it was a stick or mace, it's the one tool I had that prevented Trayvon from killing me.'
A lawyer for the Martin family denounced Zimmerman's effort to sell the gun, and another auction site, GunBroker.com, rejected the listing.
Amy Siewert, from FDLE, showed the jury how George Zimmerman's gun can be fired during his trial in Seminole circuit court, in Sanford, Florida in July 2013
Two of America's leading auctioneers of guns said they also had refused on ethical grounds to handle the sale after Zimmerman called their establishments recently hoping to consign the gun with them.
Zimmerman said the pistol was returned to him by the US Justice Department, which took it after he was acquitted in Martin's 2012 shooting death.
His listing said a portion of the proceeds would go toward fighting what Zimmerman calls violence by the Black Lives Matter movement against law enforcement officers, combating anti-gun rhetoric of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and ending the career of state attorney Angela Corey, who led Zimmerman's prosecution.
The listing ended with a Latin phrase that translates as 'if you want peace, prepare for war.'
In both listings of the weapon, he has claimed that the 'many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.'
However, the museum said in a statement it had not done so and had no plans to display it.

George Zimmerman Retweets Photo of Trayvon Martin’s Dead Body
The man who killed 17-year old unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin is looking to make a profit from the murder weapon.
TMZ reports that George Zimmerman is auctioning off the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm on GunBroker.com. The single day sale will be held on Thursday, May 12. Opening bid starts at $5,000.
"I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon. The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012," Zimmerman says in the listing.
Martin was walking to his father's home in Sanford, Florida on February 26, 2012, when he was confronted by Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch coordinator at the time, who told police the teenager looked "suspicious."
During an ensuing scuffle, Martin, was shot once in the chest and died on the scene.
A jury acquitted Zimmerman of second-degree murder and of manslaughter in July 2013.
“What I’ve decided to do is not cower,” Zimmerman told Fox 35 Orlando on Wednesday. “I’m a free American. I can do what I want with my possessions."
An attorney for the Martin family issued a statement upon hearing the news.
“The Trayvon Martin Foundation is committed to its mission of ending senseless gun violence in the United States. This election, season, we are laser focused on furthering that mission. As such, the foundation has no comment on the actions of that person."
**UPDATE**
If George Zimmerman plans on selling gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin it doesn't look like it will be on GunBroker.com.
The website removed the listing moments before the auction was set to begin this morning. When you click the link a page pops up that says "Sorry, but the item you requested is no longer in the system."
Maybe they decided that the bad publicity wasn't worth it.

The Gun George Zimmerman Used To KILL Trayvon Martin Will Be RETURNED To Him by The State Of Florida
George Zimmerman
George Zimmerman, who has previously bragged on social media about killing Trayvon Martin, has taken things a step further with his gloating.
Last week, one of Zimmerman’s followers tweeted a photo of Martin’s dead body and wrote “Z-man is a one-man army.” Zimmerman then retweeted the photo and caption to his 11,000 followers, reports People.com.
The picture is of Martin’s body lying on grass as investigators stand over it. The tweet has since been deleted.
The tweet was posted just days after Zimmerman took the stand at a probable cause hearing in the case against Matthew Apperson, the man accused of shooting at him in May.
Zimmerman was acquitted in 2013 of murder charges in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Although Zimmerman had originally pursued Martin, he claimed that he was acting in self-defense.

It's the law: The state of Florida will return to Geroge Zimmerman the gun he used to shoot Trayvon Martin
Those outraged by the George Zimmerman trial verdict are only going get angrier. Zimmerman was acquitted of murder Saturday night after a trial for shooting Trayvon Martin to death, he will be rewarded with both his freedom and the gun he used to kill the unarmed teenager. This was first pointed out on Twitter By Judd Legum, editor in chief of Think Progress, a site sponsored by the liberal think tank Center for American Progress.
Once the jury’s marathon deliberations concluded after over 16 hours, and Zimmerman was found not guilty, Judge Debra Nelson decreed all evidence would be released, Zimmerman’s GPS ankle monitor removed and his bail revoked.
This included Zimmerman’s gun, a Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm pistol, according to Time
Reaction online was nothing short of furious.
Twitter users responding to Legum’s tweet wrote ‘hideous,’ ‘THE CRAZIEST PART!!’ ‘Awful,’ ‘WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?’
The outrage over Zimmerman's not guilty verdict isn't likely to go away any time soon, but this news sure isn't going to help.
