It's the grand opening celebration of The Barclays Center & the Caribbean is "up in the house" with the Caribbean Fever Music Festival. 

December 17th   Brooklyn comes alive for one magical night with Dancehall, Soca, Reggae & some classic Hip Hop.  Starring the Soca King of the World, Machel Montano (Trinidad), the biggest hit makers of 2012 Mr. Vegas & Baby Cham (Jamaica), the Caribbean Queen, Allison Hinds (Barbados), The Worlds Greatest Entertainer, Doug E. Fresh (Barbados)  & Slick Rick The Ruler (Jamaica), T- MICKY (Haiti) and the return of Morgan Heritage (Brooklyn) .

This is history in the making as the first Caribbean festival to rock the Barclays Center.    Come on & catch the fever.    More artists to be added.

FACTS: Barclay's Center

Bruce Ratner - Forest City Ratner Companies owns 55% of Barclay Center and 20% of Nets.

Russian Billionarie Mikhail Prokohorov owns 80% of Nets and 45% of Barclay Center.

Jay Z owns only a fraction of 1% of both operations ( Jay Z is an Investor)

Barclays PLC; Banking & Finance Service Co. paid $400M for naming rights over 20 years
