T.I. Leads Peaceful Protest In Atlanta Amidst Violence

T.I. and Tiny’s 20-year-old daughter Zonnique arrested at Atlanta airport for having gun in purseTIP protest

T.I. took to the streets of his city Atlanta to lead a peaceful protest amidst outbreak of gun violence across America this week.

Yesterday, Snoop Dogg and The Game took to the street of Los Angeles to protest peacefully in front of the LAPD headquarters. On Thursday night five police officers was gunned down in Dallas just days after the death of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

T.I. documented his journey through the streets on Atlanta by posting regular videos and photos on his social media pages. The rapper and his crew was joined by thousands of protesting locking down a major highway in the city.

“I LOVE MY PEOPLE!!!!! Proud to have been a part of this moment. Look at US,” T.I. wrote on IG.

Tiny Speaks Out About Her Husband T.I. {back in JAIL 1 day after being released}./Despite Previous Reports T.I.'s Lawyer Says Rapper Not Getting Released From Prison Wednesday

T.I. and Tiny’s 20-year-old daughter Zonniquewas recently taken into police custody after she was caught with a “long gun” at the Atlanta airport.

Zonnique Pullins, daughter of Hip Hop artist T.I., was arrested and charged for carrying a weapon or long gun through security at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

A source tells CBS46 News Investigative Reporter Karyn Greer exclusively that Pullins, 20, was transported to Clayton County Jail for trying to carry a gun through airport security.

Records indicate Pullins was charged around 10 p.m. Thursday and released later at 2:09 a.m. on Friday.

As many of you may know by now T.I. has been placed back in federal custody one day after being released.

T.I. took a luxury bus ride from Arkansas to a Georgia halfway house. Prisoners from low or medium security prison can use a private, unescorted mode of transportation to travel from the prison facility to the halfway house, as long as prison officials know exactly the type of vehicle he/she is riding in.

Prison officials are claiming T.I. misled them. Saying he would be riding in a regular bus, not a tricked out tour bus.

Tip's wife, Tiny, is speaking out saying that just isn't the case. She insists that prison officials not only knew Tip would be riding in a tour bus, but also took pictures with him as he prepared board it.

"This is a bunch of bullsh*t," Tiny Told TMZ. "They should have said something before he got on the bus. T.I. would have politely gotten into a van. T.I. is one of the strongest individuals I know ... and they just trying to break him in more ways than one and it's not gonna work! 'Cause what God got for him, can't no man take that away ... period!"

Do you think prison officials are going out of their way to give TIP a hard time?

Contrary to reports that hit the internet yesterday, T.I. will not be getting released from prison tomorrow his lawyer has confirmed.

The Bureau of Prisons they won’t give you the information [of his release] until the very last minute,” Tip's lawyer Jonathan Leonard told XXL today. “The Bureau of Prisons makes all the decisions once [someone goes] into the federal system then the federal prisons is the governing body as to when he’s released, the judge has no control over it. And you don’t have any real contact with them, they don’t communicate with you and they don’t tell you when exactly he’s gonna be released.

Tip's release will still be coming soon. He began serving an 11-month sentence November 1, 2010, for violating his federal probation on drug related charges.

T.I. will be released from Forrest City Correctional Facility in Georgia on Wednesday according to various reports.

The 30-year old rapper had been locked up since November 1, 2010 after violating his probation by possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and association with a convicted felon. All of which resulted from a traffic stop on September 1, 2010 in Los Angeles, where police found ecstacy on T.I. and his wife Tiny.

Tip will have to report to a halfway house for one month before his sentence is fully served.

While in prison the Grand Hustle boss has stayed in touch with his fans via his website His last message posted on August 16, 2011 let them know he will be looking for a fresh start when he touches down.

Next time you hear from me I’ll be back out there with you. Doing for those who can’t do for themselves and speaking for those whose voices are never heard. When I touch down, I’m going all the way back to square one, like I’m fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I’M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK shit… But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it. I’ll be back at you in a minute

what difference does it make what kind of vehicle he rides in SMDH
Comment by MzMocha on September 4, 2011 at 1:16pm

If there are photographs of officials with him as he boarded the vehicle, he will be redeemed.  This is nonsense. Not sure how this is a crime, he arrived at the halfway house, not on the run in a luxury vehicle. The system SUCKS!
