Singer Chrisette Michelle Rips Officer Ross For Storming Out Of Soul Train Awards, After Losing Best Hip Hop Song To Eminem "I Rep Hip Hop But Not That Kind Of Ego Trippin Foolery"

Singer Chrisette Michele received a lot of heat from social media and fans for performing at Donald Trump's inauguration.

I guess it would be too much to ask for Officer Ricky Ross to show some class, and take his loss at last night's Soul Train Awards to Eminem like a man.

Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna took home the award for best hip hop song. That was apparently too much too take for Ross, who threw a tantrum and stormed out because his song "BMF" didn't get the award.

Singer Chrisette Michele who has worked with Ross in the past, took to her blog to express her displeasure with his immaturity and the black eye it gave Hip Hop.

Award Show :

"If this is the way hip hop is then I denounce it.

This is not about ego. This is about what I can bring to the world. My life is for the people. I live to give.

It’s my desire to bring life and freedom light and love everywhere I go. Upward mobility in the brown skinned community.

Who stands off at an award show because they don’t win? An award is winning at being as “stuck in a category” as possible. Congratulations to all the trophy holders who won at being the most like every one else.

I could have sworn hip hop was on the come up. But apparently rapping is about venting, bashing, chauvinistic pigging, and EGO. Not cool,

from the bottom of my disappointed heart. Hip Hop… Man up. I wanted to be supportive but I can’t understand you. I believed in you… But apparently you’re so high you can’t even see what the world needs.

Is all hip hop like that? Absolutely not! But some of it certainly is. Let me spit a few bars. I’m not that kinda hip hop. I rep hip hop too. But not that kinda ego trippin foolery.

It would make you feel like your hard work and passion for your craft isn't worthy of a vote from your peers and the public. Man up dude, maybe next year celebrate your peers most likely you will end up working with them any way.

a smart man analyze things before making decision, since steve is so smart how come he didnt see the things he see in trump now, he went as far as disrespect the man kids and wife, since he as pushing every one behind hillary, if she did win black people would be celebrate what victory and why? no one is yest to answer that, but than again look at steve followers: old fools and church people, desperate young people looking for a father figure hoping to be a star or get on his show, and desperate women who still hoping his books can get them a husband, that is why no one have the sense to ask question, so chrisette i stand with you

Unfortunately though, the recording industry does not have a moral code & it's all about exalting the songs that make the most money regardless of what nonsense or negativity it portrays. On another note, these people thrive on controversy and if you are in the public eye oing stupid stuff will bring attention thus making a popular person even more known to the public. I was once told bad publicity is good publicity & no publicity is bad publicity.

Eminem's has come a long way and has delivered a message that everyone can understand. If RR is going to be such a sore loser that says a lot about him. Maybe he should take a page out of Eminem's book. Chrisette's message was powerful. We all have to set better examples for our youth.

To not when means bring a better game next time and salute the winner. To be a sore looser is so childish. It wasn't suppose to be about how much money you spend, how much jewelery you purchase or how many women/men you can sex. It's suppose to be about the art. What happen to that true form. People can say what they want about Jay Z, but he is one classy dude.
