Shootout Caught On Tape As Gunman Enters Detroit Police Station, Shooting 4 Cops Before Being Killed! [Videos & Pics]

Detroit police have released incredible footage of a gun battle that took place inside a precinct Sunday (January 23), between Lamar Moore and police.

The gun battle started when the 38-year old Moore, armed with a 20-gauge shotgun walked into the Northwestern District station and started dumping shots at cops for no apparent reason.

Police officers return fire, fatally wounding Moore, but not before he managed to shoot four of them.

In the video below which is shown from two different angles, you will see Moore calmly walk in before the shooting starts. At one point during the gun battle he jumps over the police desk as he and Cmdr. Brian Davis shoot at each other at point blank range.

After Davis is shot in the hand and back, he throws a trash can at Moore who is already mortally wounded.  He can be seen slumping to the floor as the trash can bounces over a desk.

The four wounded officers survived and are recovering.

So far police haven't discovered a motive for why Moore went on the shooting rampage.

As a cop, how do you extort the people your supposed to protect.

How do you Falsely charge innocent people with crimes.

How the HELL do you KILL unarmed people or innocent babies and say sorry,

AND STILL A GET PAID SUSPENSION let alone get off Scott-free?????? all of these happened in Detroit... That is reason enough to go buck-wild like Lamar did... I wouldn't be surprised if he was related to the little girl that was slain do to a mistake of location...

I know what ur saying Carl trust me im up on current events and the news about Detroit is such a devestating state its almost unbelievable cause a place so vibrant as it was once could turn to such a war zone and abandonment as it is its so sad what has become to Detroit i  agree its unbelievable the state they are in now and they have hardly no jobs at all either.

Yes, yes, yes!  In fact the street where we used to live now has only 3 inhabitated houses.  And the once vibrant and bustling neighbourhood id now like as you say a "ghost town."  Unbelievable!

Its something but the economic state definetly plays a major part I heard it looks nothing like it used to down there it looks so abandoned, its almost a ghost town.

Right now Detroit may be the worst in crime but we do realise that it's because of the dire economic circumstances don't we?
