Rapper YG Takes 60 Underprivileged Kids On A Holiday Shopping Spree [Video]

Actions speak louder than words. That's certainly the case with Compton, California emcee YG when it comes to spreading holiday cheer.

He recently took 60 underprivileged kids from regional group homes on a shopping spree. The kids were picked after taking part in a statewide essay. The winners were given $150 each to spend as they pleased and treated to lunch.

That's wassup.

I think it was a good thing to give back regardless of his reason, Because most Rappers come from our own community's we expect them to giveaway, share and donate what they have worked hard to achieve, That's no more there responsibility then rich clothing designers, movie producers, and any one else that has gained success, So stop trying to figure out why he did it, and be glade he did it! how many of you would work your ass off and give it all away??? ZERO these artist have a right the live there life's. just because fans buy there music dose not mean he has to give back, how many McDonald burgers do you have to buy before McDonalds gives back to you? Think about it.

and just so you know lots of people do things like this with no publicity, they don't even want there names mentioned, they just want to give back.......

YG. Don't worry about who will try to copy. Watch the match as you say. You will be BLESSED as the kids was blessed by you. I appreciate you doing that for them even though I'm not from that city. You were their ANGEL in disguise.

We have such low standards in the black community. As long as someone is not "killing someone" we think that anything else is a good thing.... NOT...
