Oops: Charles Barkley Forgets Cameras Are Rolling. Trashes The Atlanta Hawks & Weight Watchers Endorsement "This Weight Watchers Thing Is A Big Scam" [Video]

Charles Barkley is one entertaining dude.

The former NBA great currently works for TNT as an analyst. He also endorses Weight Watchers. You've probably seen the commercial where he talks about getting healthy and tells viewers to lose weight "like a man."

The "round mound of rebound" must have forgotten that slogan when he was captured on camera saying that Weight Watchers is a "scam."

During a recent game between the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks, cameras continued to roll during a commercial break as Barkley talked with fellow analysts Reggie Miller and Kevin Harlan about the Weight Watchers program.

"I'm not giving away no free money Kev," Barkley told Harlan. "I thought this was the greatest scam going--getting paid for watching sports. This Weight Watchers thing is a bigger scam."

Barkley and Harlan then went on to trash the Hawks.

"I can't stand watching this Atlanta Hawks team play," Barkley said.

"This game is terrible," added Harlan. "Look at this team--31% [shooting], God almighty!"

Miller was the only one of the three that didn't have anything bad to say about the Hawks, but Barkley kept going.

"The Hawks aint got nothing but a bunch of nice guys," Barkley continued. "If I were the Hawks, they're the team to me I'd try to anything to get Dwight Howard. Say 'you can have anybody on our team.'"

Check out the hilarious clip below.

This guy has always been a moron! Who but an ass hole talks crap about people that you have endorsements with in public, and with a mic on your head. After Jesse Jackson's brain fart you would think everyone in media would use their head (referring to his comment about Obama before he was elected Pres.). But, stupid is as stupid does I guess.
The whole admiration for a loud mouth or a person so-called speaking their mind is so over rated (and gets a thumbs down). Control of one's self physically and mentally shows more intellect, respect for your self and others. A child/baby can be noisy that's no skill or talent, and many times people like this are usually venting other pent up frustrations. They keep a fiery build up ready to explode at any time and in many cases they inflict it upon people that don't deserve it. They're never sorry either, and almost never apologize in anyway because they feel they are always right or justified...

I have always liked Charles Barkley for one reason and one reason only, he always spoke his mind.  Someone said he was never a nice HONEST guy...evidently I missed something.  Even if he was dishonest at some point in his life/career, I still admire the dude for being honest and outspoken to his thoughts and beliefs.  Though the video is no longer avaiable, I still LMAO @ his comments.  [Dennis Rodman is the next one who don't give ah rat's ass]

Barkley did not only make mention of Weight Watchers, the man even dissed his job...that's how he feels; unfortunately the cameras were rolling with audio...sigh.  Also, I know personally others besides the celebrities who subscribed to WW and lost a tremendous amount of weight, and there was no Nips & Tucks involved.  It works...even if it's all in the mind (a la Scam like most products are) it works.

I agree TallIslandGirl.  I lost 50 lbs on Weight Watchers and no surgical knife went near me! Just me and Billy (Tae-Bo)!

If Weight Watchers is smart, they will use his comments as a commercial. Weight Watchers. It works so well it feels like a scam.

To Queen Bee

So what if they did! That's their business, not yours or anyone else's. As long as they're happy and at peace with themselves, it shouldn't matter how they lose the weight. Having a tummy tuck, liposuction or any other surgery to take weight off doesn't keep the weight off. You still have to eat right, exercise and drink plenty of water! That's how Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem and the like really works!
