NY Giants Player Shaun Rogers Takes Woman He Picked Up At Miami Club Back To His Hotel Room. When He Wakes Up, She's Gone & Over $400K In Jewelry Is Missing

New York Giants player Shaun Rogers learned a hard lesson about picking up strangers and taking them home for the night.

The 34-year old defensive end was partying at Miami Beach's Club Liv inside the Fontainebleau Hotel Monday when he and a group of friends met a woman. Rogers took the female back to his room at the Fontainebleau around 7 in the morning. He told police he put his jewelry in the hotel safe and continued to party with the woman until he fell asleep.

When he woke up around noon, the woman was gone and he couldn't get into the room's safe.

Hotel security was able to pry open the safe, only to discover all of the jewelry was missing.

Among the items Rogers said were stolen were: diamond earrings worth $100,000; two wristwatches worth a combined $160,000; a gold necklace with gold pendant worth$50,000; gold bracelets worth $60,000; and a diamond Cuban necklace with a gold pendant worth $70,000 according to CBS Miami.

Miami Beach Police are now looking for the woman.

Comment by Bruce Thorne on April 1, 2013 at 10:37am: This is what you get for picking up some unknown club ho and taking her back to your Hotel room.Mistake no.one you never fall asleep before the woman leaves,always make sure you lock the door behind her after she exits the room.Mistake no.two never expose your bling or put it in a safe unless its iron clad and the concierge has the key or the code to enter the safe,this way if any thing goes missing the hotel is responsible.This guy has a lot to learn,he let the nice smile and that killer bod. get to the wrong head,I hope he learned his lesson,it could have been worst at least he has his life the jewels could always be replaced.

It's alright for a man to go to the club and go pu**y hunting but there are rules to that game and it's a big price to pay if you even break one on them rules. The blog didn't even say anything about a name that he gave the police, he probably didn't even know her name but I bet she knew who he was. I bet the police laughed they ass off after getting that call. They say "drink responsibly" and he didn't do that. First off he is dumb and stupid for many reasons and it seem that you missed all of them reasons so I guess somebody got to point some of them reasons out for you, so instead of calling you names like you just did to every one who left a comment, I would try to point some of the mistakes that he made out for you. From the title of the blog it's looks like he wasn't married or had a girlfriend so you can't say that he made the same mistake as Kobe Bryant but he could of easily made the same mistake as Mike Tyson which could of cost him everything he got. Now you said that he was a man being a man by getting him some pu**y, well all men that be men by going out and getting some quick pu**y don't always come home as the same man they where when they went out to get that pu**y. He was looking for a quick f*** and she was looking for a quick payday, so he got what he wanted and she got what she wanted. Just think about all the things that really could of went wrong and you will see that 400K isn't s*** to lose!!! He was drunk and f***** up so I doubt if he could really remember everything that really went down that night. But he could of left out that hotel room with something that a doctor couldn't fix or he could of left that hotel room in a body bag. Now, when he met that chick he didn't have any respect for her if he had it in his head that he was going to f*** her that night he met her and she didn't have any respect for her self if she gave it up that first night. But when you got as much money as him or as much fame as him then you got to be real careful in this world because there's always somebody out to get some of your money. If he just wanted some pu**y as you say then he f***** up by even taking her back to HIS hotel room. He should of took her ass to a motel for a few hours and got what he wanted and then went back to his hotel room alone, it would of been a lot cheaper. By taking her back to his hotel room he made his self a risk, then on top of that he was drunk and he pasted out or fell asleep with this stranger that he just met in his room. But I say, if he was smart enough to put his s*** in a safe then he should of been smart enough to take her ass home after they got done. But just think if she left that hotel room and 9 months later she having his baby, now he got bigger problems because she would be getting his money the legal way and it would be well over 400K. Or if she left that hotel room and she went to the police and said that she went up to his room to hang out and he raped her. See it's a lot of ways this story could of been worst then what it is all because he made a stupid move by taking a chick that he just met up to his room and then falling asleep while she was still there or all because he was being a man by getting some pu**y like you said.
