Twerk 2.0: Ellen shows off her magical Auto-Twerk, which flaps some plastic buttocks up and down at the press of a button - much to the audience's amusement
Thanks (or no thanks) to Miley Cyrus' antics, twerking has officially come to the forefront of cultural discussion.
But Miley's oft-clumsy attempts at the dance move pale in comparison to what Ellen DeGeneres' version.
The comedian and talk-show host unveiled a new invention on her show as part of the Ellen Shop Outcasts bit, in which she presents ludicrous - and often failed - products.
Her grand creation was the Auto-Twerk, which aims to revolutize twerking for the non-coordinated masses.
'Not everyone knows how to twerk properly, so I - I'm always thinking of you,' she told the audience as she introduced the product.
Ellen then grabbed a plastic cutout of buttocks that was attached to a belt.
She carefully buckled the belt around her waist and grabbed what appeared to be a small remote.
With the press of a button, the plastic buttocks began waving up and down - success!
The crowd naturally cackled with belly laughs as Ellen bounced her hips back and forth
'I'm telling you, I get free drinks all night with this thing on,' she cracked.

She also had a weight-lifting competition with Hugh Jackman on the show, and it appeared at first that the buff Aussie would beat her handily.
But Ellen has tricks up her sleeve, and she easily upstaged Hugh, much to his amusement.
It looks like Ellen just can't help but think of clever ways to show off - and thankfully for her, the audience can't help but laugh.
