Nine months after her fight with Chris Brown, Rihanna finally opens up about the night that left her bruised and bloody.
"This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone," the singer, 21, tells Diane Sawyer in an interview airing Thursday on Good Morning America and on 20/20 on Friday.

Rihanna says it was particularly difficult because of the special place Brown held in her heart: "He was definitely my first big love." [I want] to stand up for girls in this situation and . . . [I'm] embarrassed and disappointed about the officers leaking the picture out to the public."

Both singers have worked to move on. Brown is serving his sentence and working on new music, his album Graffiti will drop Dec. 15; and Rihanna is shaking things up with her edgy fashion and releasing her fourth album Rated R on Nov. 23. The album's first single "Russian Roulette" debuted last week.

But some woman think that if they disrespect the man in this matter that he would stay hit that shiat hurts the man think woman don't have good blows!! I have 5 brothers and they taught me well trust!!! I know the first signs of abuse relationship she started it and he had to be the bigger person cause hes the man!!! There both wrong cause ounce RESPECT goes out the window the relationship is done!!!

Queen Latifah JUST began to speak nearly as well as this LOVELY, ARTICULATE, shining star. she is music royalty and a great example for young girls to aspire to having this much poise. i could go on. i met her years ago, just after she had signed. one of the nicest young girls (she ws 16 when i met her!) one of the most exceptional women in this world. she is ALL that and more. i wish her HUGE, UNIMAGINABLE SUCCESS AND LOVE.

Seeing that in one month she has her new album being released. I know i maybe jaded but that is what showbiz people do. I think they were both young and they did make mistakes. but i hope they both learn from this and move on. I hope the media can move on, this issue is so tiring. Also hope people forgive Chris,and pray he will do much better in his future.
