Experts have long agreed that the health benefits of milk go way beyond building strong bones and teeth. According to naturalhomeremedies.com, the white fluid can be used externally -- on the skin to help it glow and on the scalp to remove dead skin. A few cotton balls soaked in cold milk, the website says, can all also reduce puffiness from around the eyes while soaking the hands in warm milk once a week ensures healthy skin and nails.

@Jeanine a Dubison...thanks Empress. It always astounds me the amount of mis-information and low level of understanding, folks have when it comes to health and nutrition. One of the many ways government is killing off poor folks is through food and food mis-information.
That's why even supposedly healthiest foods (such as milk, just to name one) are laced with chemicals, either by fortifying it, or spraying it with pesticides (such as fruits and vegetables). Not even organics are safe from chemicals anymore.
As for the milk thing, sometimes people (I'm hoping with good intentions) spread mis-information, not because they have ill intent or because they are unintelligent, but simply because they don't know better. I'm glad I was able to enlighten.
Blessings sistrine! :)
Wow, using woman's breast to perpetuate misinformation...wow...ok...
It's not the milk that reduces "puffiness around the eye", it's the coldness (which can be replaced with cold, wet tea bags, cucumbers, a cold pack, cold wet or a cloth filled with ice).
Cows milk is filled with bovine growth hormones (BGH), cow puss and cow mucus. Don't fall for this blatant propaganda. It's not milk that is good for your skin and hair...it's "calcium" (which can be obtained by other sources). Replace cows milk with rice milk or almond milk instead (which are low in protein and calcium).
HOWEVER, you can get a higher dosage of non-daily calcium from other sources. Consider other healthier food choices, to get calcium, as well:
