Quavo Drops Emotional Takeoff Tribute Song and Video “Without You”

Takeoff’s Alleged Killer Starts $2 Million Gofundme Want Money For Private Investigator

Quavo released his first single since the death of his Migos bandmate Takeoff.
The single, “Without You,” is a tribute to the late Atlanta rapper, who is also Quavo’s nephew. The song hit streaming services, and the accompanied music video was released on Huncho’s YouTube channel on Wednesday just before midnight. The clip shows Quavo in the studio vibing the song while smoking a blunt while Quality Control’s CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, looks on.“Tears rolling down my eyes/Can’t tell you how many times I cried/Can’t tell you how many times I cried/ Days ain’t the same without you/ Ion kno if I’m the same without you/ Remember the days we smoked big blunts together,” he raps.

Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston on November 1, 2022, reportedly after an argument between Quavo and others over a game of dice. The rapper was only 28 years old at the time of his death. Police say he was an innocent bystander who was struck by bullets in the head and torso after suspect Patrick Xavier Clark started shooting in a crowd of people. Clark was later arrested and charged with murder.

The late rapper was the youngest member of the hip hop trio Migos, which also includes his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on June 18, 1994. He is best known for his deep, melodic flow and clever wordplay, with fans naming him the best rapper in the group.

Takeoff made his debut as a rapper in 2013, when Migos released their first mixtape, “Young Rich N***as.” The mixtape was a critical and commercial success and helped to establish the group as a rising star in the booming Atlanta rap industry. Over the years, Takeoff has continued to contribute his unique style and skills to Migos’ music, helping the group to release a number of successful projects and platinum-selling singles.

In addition to his work with Migos, Takeoff has also released several solo tracks and features. He made his solo debut in 2018 with the single “Last Memory,” which was well-received by fans and critics alike. Takeoff has continued to release solo tracks and features and has proven himself to be a talented and versatile rapper in his own right.

In 2018, Takeoff also released his solo debut album, The Last Rocket, with the other two members of the group, Quavo and Offset, also releasing solo projects.

Takeoff’s Murder Suspect Patrick Xavier Clark Arrested And Charged

Patrick Takeoff

The main suspect charged with the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff says he has no money and wants the court to order the state pays for a private investigator to help him clear his name.
Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, is charged with murder for the killing of Takeoff in Houston on November 1. The man has filed new requests to the court outlining that he is not only impecunious, but he wants the court to order that the state assists with hiring a private investigator.

A Florida man had a very busy Sunday last week and it had little to do with doing good, such as helping the needy after worship. Okay, he might have done some good deeds, but what has made headlines are the outrageous ones.

The 36-year-old man, who has been identified as Chad Mason, was arrested that Sunday and charged with several misdeeds, from having sex with an animal (a Goldendoodle dog), exposing his sexual organs and damaging church’s nativity scene to trying to steal a car.

Mason was taking the dog in question for a walk at around 4:30 PM on Sunday through an apartment complex in the 2600 block of McMullen Booth Road. Mason knew the dog’s owner. He stopped walking the dog and instead began having sex with it right in front of several adults. There was also a child below 16 watching the incident. Lord have mercy!

One of the adults confronted Mason, who then took off to Northwood Presbyterian Church. This brings us to his other crime: upon entering the church, Mason began knocking over a nativity display, breaking several potted plants, and throwing kids’ toys from the playground area. When the church officials counted the losses after the intrusion, they realized he damaged properties worth over $400.

Nurse at Scene of Takeoff Shooting Speaks Out {VIDEO} Drake and Justin Bieber Among VIPs Celebrating the Life of Rapper Takeoff | WATCH

Takeoff’s family is one step close to getting justice as Houston Police announced a major breakthrough in the case.
Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner revealed in a press conference on Friday that they arrested Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, and charged him with murder, CNN reported. As previously reported, Cameron Joshua, 22, was also arrested and charged with a crime unrelated to Takeoff’s murder. Joshua, also known as Lil Cam, is facing charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon. He was rumored to be a suspect in the killing of the Migos rapper, but his lawyer denied the claims saying he was not the one who fired the fatal shot.

Takeoff was killed on November 1 in Houston, Texas, after what was initially reported as a shooting over a dice game. Police have not made an arrest as yet or named a suspect, but a week ago, several blogs online claimed that Lil Cam was Takeoff’s alleged killer as they referenced his recent charges for illegal possession of weapons.

=================================================
Lil Cam, whose real name is Cameron Joshua, was slapped with a charge of felony unlawful carry of a weapon on November 22. According to prosecutors at his recent court hearing, the 16-year-old rapper was spotted on surveillance footage outside of the bowling alley brandishing a gun when the shooting occurred.
Lil Cam is said to be among the group of people that were hanging with J. Prince Jr.’s Mob Ties Records crew that was at the crime scene the night Takeoff was killed.
Despite the prosecution’s claim, the D.A.’s office has not said whether they had plans to charge Lil Cam for the shooting.

“We believe Cameron Joshua has been appropriately charged in this case,” lead prosecutor Matt Gilliam said after a court hearing this week. “And we’re continuing our investigation into the death of TakeOff.”

In the meantime, Christopher Downey, the lawyer representing Lil Cam, said his client was not responsible for Takeoff’s death as he addressed the reports online.

I haven’t seen anything to suggest that Cameron Joshua had anything to do with the shooting, that he discharged a firearm that caused [TakeOff’s] death or was he even involved,” Downey said. “My understanding is there was some type of skirmish,” he added.

The lawyer added that his client is alleged to have had a gun when the shooting took place and a witness statement said he had been identified as having a firearm with allegations claiming that he was seen re-racking his weapon.

His lawyer confirmed that he was at the event where Takeoff was shot, but the lawyer highlighted that legally there is a difference between carrying a gun and shooting as he stressed his client’s innocence.

In the meantime, Lil Cam was on bond for a previous matter of possessing a fake ID. His bond was revoked, and he remains in custody until a decision is made about his freedom at a bond hearing next week.

The lawyer also hinted that his client may “decide to” later give information about the actual shooter, but he did not go further to explain his statement.

“I’ve talked to him. He wants bond. He wants to get out. He wants to clear his name. We will discuss [who the shooter is] with the DA.s office if he decides to,” the lawyer told reporters when asked if he knew who shot Takeoff.

In the meantime, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner last month promised that said he had promised Takeoff’s family to ensure that the family gets justice for the senseless killing.

He also responded to critics who lamented the slow progress of the investigation, saying he does not want to send family members for a roller coaster ride and then potentially have to clear up inaccurate information.

State Farm Arena was transformed into a church Friday as family and fans gathered to celebrate the earthly departure of Takeoff from Migos.

The three-hour sendoff was a superstar affair, featuring performances from Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey and Yolanda Adams, as well as a poem by Drake, and words of remembrance from Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and the founders of Migos’ label, Quality Control Music.

Cousin Offset, who along with Takeoff’s uncle, Quavo, formed the platinum hit factory known as Migos, struggled to compose himself remembering his bandmate, who he grew up with and considered a brother. His head down, dreadlocks obscuring his face, he repeatedly apologized.

“I love you, dog. I love you,” he said.

Offset hasn’t been able to sleep or eat following the November 1 killing, he told the several thousand people in attendance, most of them dressed in black. Every time he dozes off, he said, he wakes up hoping news of his 28-year-old cousin’s fatal shooting in Houston was a terrible dream.

“I wish we could laugh again,” he said. “I wish I could smoke one with you.”

He closed saying how Migos changed the future of music — “You did that, Take” — and called for more brotherhood and fellowship in the world before asking the crowd to pray with him.

J. Prince Responds to Rumors His Son is Connected to Killing of Takeoff

Migos

A nurse who allegedly tried to help save TakeOff after he was shot last week in Houston is speaking out about the tragic evening.

The Migos rapper was shot during a dice game outside of a Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1. TakeOff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, died at the scene. He was 28.

A nurse, who prefers to remain anonymous, says she lives nearby the 810 Billiards & Bowling. When she heard the gunshots around 2:30 a.m, she hurried to the scene to investigate, KHOU 11 News reports.

“I live close by and I heard, ‘Pow pow pow pow pow,’ and it stopped and I went, ‘That’s so weird so I got up in my pajamas, go over to the balcony, my neighbors were underneath me,” the woman said. “I said ‘Did yall hear that?’ And they said ‘Yeah.’ And I said ‘I don’t think that was a car or firecrackers. That sounded like gunshots.’”

As we reported previously, Houston police are still piecing together the heated argument that took place before Takeoff was fatally shot. According to TMZ, law enforcement claims Quavo and others exchanged “angry words after he lost a dice game at the bowling alley.” Police claim that once the group was outside, they started going back and forth over who would beat who in a basketball game.

In video footage circulating of the shooting, you can hear Quavo talking about basketball before getting frustrated and walking away. That’s when a punch is thrown before multiple weapons are fired. The infusion nurse said she witnessed Quavo screaming for help as Takeoff lay bleeding out on the ground.

“I’m thinking that’s the victim. That’s the person who’s shot,” she said of Quavo. “It sounded like a cry of agony. It was a cry of agony but emotional not physical… You can hear my voice in a video yelling ‘I’m a nurse. No, no, no. I’m a nurse,’ because I wanted to let them know. I was scared, but I had to go.”

The nurse said by the time she reached Takeoff, he had no pulse, his eyes were “fixed and dilated” and he was bleeding from his head. According to a report from the Houston County Coroner’s office, Takeoff was shot in the head and torso.
The homegoing service for Takeoff will be held Friday at the State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta, WSBTV reports. Pastor Jesse Curney III of the New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn will give eulogize the funeral service.
According to TMZ, no arrests have been made at this time but the Houston Police Department has a person of interest connected to the shooting.

QUAVO ASSISTANT SHOT IN MELEE THAT KILLED TAKEOFF

Takeoff
Takeoff

Rap-A-Lot founder J. Prince is speaking out about the killing of Migos rapper Takeoff amid rumors that Quavo and Takeoff were hanging with his son Jas Prince before the shooting.

We reported previously that Takeoff was fatally shot during a dice game in Houston earlier this week. Rumor has it that J. Prince hosted the event. As noted by SandraRose.com, after videos of the chaotic scene hit social media, several social media users criticized J. Prince, Jr. for walking past Takeoff’s dead body.

Per the outlet, one user commented, “The way J Prince Jr. walked past takeoff on the ground is f-cking crazy. The way how the whole rap game gotta check in with these fraudulent niggas when they go to Houston is crazy.”

J. Prince is now setting the record straight in a lengthy Instagram post — see below.

“The Prince family would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of a beautiful soul @yrntakeoff,” Prince’s message began. “To Houstonians and families around the world, this one breaks my heart because Takeoff was a brother, a son, a role model, and a God loving human being.”

He continued: “Grief is the price of love; a bill people from across the globe are paying right now as we mourn this loss. I’ve been knowing Takeoff, Quavo and Offset for many years and there has been nothing but mutual love for one another and that ain’t going to ever change where we are concerned. This shouldn’t have happened. This shouldnt have ever happened in our city. This shouldn’t have been recorded, and this damn sure shouldn’t be circulating across social media for family, friends and fans to see.”

J. Prince went on to note that he’s been friendly with the three Migos rappers (Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo) for a long time.

“As I write this I’m angry about the lack of love and respect we have for one another as a race which keeps bringing us back to the same tragic place of Black on Black killing,” his message continued.

He then addressed the rumors that his son was involved in Takeoff’s death.

“They say satan is the author of confusion and right now there are a lot of lies and false narratives being spread by media whores,” he said. “I consider myself a man that’s quick to listen and slow to speak, therefore to whomever is responsible for putting that bullet in my little nephews head, let it be known that you can’t hide behind me, beside me or anywhere near me because I don’t tolerate dumb s***.”

The shooting occurred outside a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. Graphic photos from the scene are circulating online and show Takeoff lying dead with a puddle of blood next to his head.

Witnesses and law enforcement sources told TMZ  that Takeoff and fellow Migos member Quavo were both playing dice before the shooting. A fight broke out and Takeoff was shot when a person opened fire. He was reportedly shot twice in the head and neck and pronounced dead at the scene. Quavo was not injured. Two others reportedly suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to a hospital in private vehicles.

After videos of the incident hit social media, savvy internet users identified Huncho Records A&R manager Migo Bands, 24, as the person who pulled a gun. The Houston Police Department said Bands is a “person of interest” in the case.

J. Prince said the shooting was the result of a “foolish” situation.

“To the homies in Georgia and around the world that got love for Takeoff like we do know this: let’s change the narrative in our culture by putting an end to every argument or disagreement resulting in violence,” he concluded. “It’s okay to live and let live to see another day. Rest in peace Takeoff.”
