Three men wielding a machete and knives attacked a man in New York City, slashing him and cutting off one of his fingers, according to police.

The trio assaulted a 25-year-old man inside a stairwell in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx, authorities say.

It happened at Briggs Avenue at approximately 11.10pm Saturday,amNY reported.

Police have released video of the attack, which shows the suspects enter the building. One of them clearly gets out a machete.

Police say the victim's left pinky was severed. He also suffered cuts to his arms and legs. The 25-year-old man has been hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Police told DailyMail.com the motive is unknown at this time.

The victim was 'highly uncooperative,' according to authorities.

The attackers fled in an unknown direction.

I believe every one in the black community should be license before having kids, you mufuckers cannot stay together, sure love to f***, most of those women cannot take care of those little bastards but sure like to get pregnant well obtain a license that will held both people accountable to raise to those kids, other than that do not get pregnant you should be going to jail if you have an abortion, if you are going to have sex use a condom or take your birth control no negotiation
