Marijuana to be be fully legalized on Thursday...

Ron Paul and Barney Frank have teamed up again (after their successful joint HuffPo editorial of 2010) to introduce legislation legalizing marijuana. Not decriminalizing it, but actually totally legalizing it. Wouldn't that be wild?

It is being billed as "bipartisan legislation" but obviously Ron Paul is the only Republican co-sponsor. According to the Marijuana Policy Project: "The legislation is the first bill ever introduced in Congress to end federal marijuana prohibition."

Ron Paul said a while ago that the drug laws in America were racist and used to put African Americans in prison. Can you imagine how much fewer black males will be in prison if this pass? A lot of them started they runs in prison off of the stupid drug laws.

Telling you that's an impressive move on Ron Pauls side. But still, I been fooled by to many politicians to trust this guy yet. Hell of a move though, he would have done more for blacks then Obama.

kcrunchone At first it was illegal alcohol where so many people lost their lives trying to sell it back in the 1930’s. Now it’s marijuana and the huge demand for it, I’m serious that if this legalization of marijuana catches on the same tobacco companies are going to cash in big time. More people out there will to smoke weed than tobacco, and tax revenues are going to be through the roof. I wonder what the stupid governments in the Caribbean are going to do when weed is legal here in the United States. They keep throwing people in jail for a joint, and so much other things they should be paying attention too, like money laundering, child molestation, human trafficking and fraud.

It will only pass if the government can get the tax from the sales.

what MOFOS gonna lose their minds.

People I said it some time ago since they were trying so hard to push for the cigarette issue in public there was an agenda behind all that. I have said it from the very start. Shame that so many people got hit with charges for previous incidents that will now be a free pass.
