The Liam Neeson apology/new movie promo tour kicked off its first stop with an interview on Good Morning America.
Neeson’s flick, Cold Pursuit, is about revenge, but when discussing the film’s themes in an interview with the Independent, the once revered actor shared an incident where he learned that someone close to him had been raped.
“God forbid you’ve ever had a member of your family hurt under criminal conditions,” he explained, adding that after he found out about the rape, “My immediate reaction was … I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person.”
Neeson then admitted he went out on the streets with a heavy stick, hoping someone would approach him and start an altercation.
“I’m ashamed to say that and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some ‘black b******’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could … kill him,” he continued.
As his costar Tom Bateman listened in shock, he could be heard saying: “Holy s***.”
Neeson then seemingly realized the major admission and apologized saying it “was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that and I’ve never admitted that, and I’m saying it to a journalist. God forbid.”
Needless to say Neeson’s racist murder fantasy didn’t sit well with fans and social media users were quick to cancel the Taken star.
GMA anchor Robin Roberts drew the short straw and sat down with Neeson for his first televised interview where the actor claimed power walking cured his racism.
“I’m not a racist,” Neeson said Tuesday. But he did feel a “primal urge to lash out” after learning about the decades-old incident.
“I went out deliberately into black areas in the city, looking to be set upon,” he said, after finding out what had happened to his close friend. “It shocked me and it hurt me … I did seek help, I went to a priest.”
Neeson said no violence occurred, though he does believe if a man had approached him, he would have attacked and possibly killed him.
He also noted that he would have searched for a white man if his friend said her attacker had fit that description.

If someone raped someone he cared about he should've been looking for that particular person but instead he was walking the street hoping to get into an altercation with any" Black bastard" (his words). Maybe he's redeemed , maybe he's not, some of us don't waste time trying to figure out if a bigot or racist is reformed.
This man said something that he was feeling a real long time ago when he was a younger man, now the times he was raised in it was very legal to be racist it was what white people are taught from babies. Someone said here that racism is a choice so if that's the case then you can also un-choose it from what he said that's what he did. Also don't be so naive that all or many of the white people you may encounter or watch on tv has had a racist moment or thought in their life. So are you going to stop watching tv or go out to events or eat at restaurants etc... I am a pro black man who grew up in the 60's I had to deal with going to a all white school that the students didn't want us there i been in race riots. I'm here to tell you people can change I have some of you many have i'm saying this to show you that it's all around us he did something that many of them don't he gave us his thoughts of the way he used to be with good reason. If any of you had a women in your life that you are close too and she got RAPED you would be angered and possibly feel the same way or at least want to get the person. If you found out they were Black you may as black people say "I'M GONNA KILL THAT N****" or if it's a White man you may say "I'M GONNA KILL THAT EFING WHITE MF'er" or Spanish etc... you get what I mean judge them by their actions. Not pass thoughts that were never acted upon. Our problem as a people is the government and their trickle down slavery laws that still exist it's just watered down a bit to keep us fooled. I LOVE my people but sometimes we fight the wrong fight what we need to do is be more unified as a people treat everyone as we want to be treated. Be there for our children and protect them and our women as Black Men be a good example stop committing crimes that cause us not to be here in society to be able to make a difference. We have a much worse person that is more detrimental to us and we all know who that is.....
Peace & Blessings
Maybe .3 describes Liam Neeson.
lol negros are the worse, they sit around they cater to white people, and defend white people, they claim white people are not racist, but as soon as the white folks decide to show their demons when they cant no longer hold it in niggers act shocked, like it never existed, the sad part they apologize and they get forgiven.
all those years he was thinking about killing a black bastard, all those years he thinks that way about black people, just like Hillary Clinton calling young black men super predators, you have been supporting him and will continue to support him, nothing will change, in fact watch how many negros will support his new movie, negros are so used to the abusive treatment from white people this is love, they just dont care
