Kim Burrell caught screaming hate speech against ‘perverted’ gays {VIDEO}
In response to Kim Burrell’s sermon in which she railed against homosexuality, Janelle Monae took to Instagram to not only agree with Pharrell’s callout post telling Burrell where she could stick her bigotry but also to write her own response.
She captioned Pharrell’s original post with this response:
I shouldn’t even have to post this as you guys should already know where I stand but If you do not pls know I unequivocally repudiate ANY AND ALL hateful comments against the LGBTQ community. Actually I’m tired of that label. We all belong to the same community, a shared community called humanity. And today and tomorrow and the next day I will continue to stand with other like minded people who condemn any and all statements and actions that would seek to deny the basic humanity of our fellow brothers and sisters. We cannot sit Idly by nor will we speak silently when we are confronted with such violence against members of our community. I am personally beyond exhausted by the ignorance and bigotry living in some people. At times I want to punch and I want to slap a lot of people when I read and hear the s*** that comes out their mouthes !!! I will rejoice when folks stop thinking they ARE GOD, Jesus’ assistant, picking and choosing what “sins” are acceptable in the Bible, and using the Bible as a whip! WE can’t afford anymore tearing down of our shared humanity. My advice: If your religion is causing you to spew out words of hate, judge, or look down on others because of who one loves then you need to change it. And fast. If the religion don’t make you are more loving or better person, ditch it. But what do I know. My hope is that we ALL go into this new year considering for one moment that we don’t have all the answers. My hope is that we become more understanding, less judgmental, more tolerate, and more patient with one another. Including me. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Kim Burrell is scheduled to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on January 5, but Ellen might want to reconsider the offer when she sees this video.
In the video, which was published to YouTube on Fridy, Burrell can be heard preaching against homosexuality, saying, “Anyone filled with the homosexual spirit, beg God to free you… That perverted homosexual spirit, and the spirit of delusion and confusion, it has deceived many men and women.”
“You as a man, you open your mouth and take a man’s penis in your face, you are perverted. You are a woman and will shake your face in another woman’s breast, you are perverted. And it has come into our church and embarrassed the kingdom of God,” the gospel singer continues.
She goes on to call Bishop Eddie Long an “embarrassment to the church” because he is rumored to be suffering from HIV/AIDS, which she claims is related to his homosexual activity.
On Friday night, Burrell responded to the controversy that the video has caused, saying,
“We’re not in a war against flesh and blood. I came on [Facebook Live] because I care about God’s creation and every person from the LGBT and anything else, any other kind of thing that is supporting gay — I never said LGBT last night. I said S.I.N. and whatever falls in the sin was preached.”
“What I posted was not all I preached to… isn’t that something? That is design of the enemy to make it look like I have a personal agenda against people… to the carnal all things are carnal, and to the spiritual all things are spiritual.”

@DJ..... you do know that a MAN wrote the bible...... GOD didn't write a thing. IJS
As others say, homosexuality is perverted, however IMO one's belief in GOD is personal. The issue with religion isn't religion itself, it's the religious forcing their beliefs onto others. Personal conflicts and malevolence aside, GOD does not allow others to castigate wayward souls. That's GODs job. Although people can chastise and/or admonish others, and that's their right under free speech, it is wrong to do so because certain "perverted" behaviors don't comport to folks religious beliefs.
My point is, I am also disgusted with the inundation of homosexuality that's permeated schools, society and the "screen". My position is that it's an unnatural and repulsive act that needs to be kept far from kids, and away from my soul. There is a well defined group of people that embraces this lifestyle. They're easy to reach and even easier to spot. Let them get all the h*** "vibes" they need to feel gay. The rest of society should not have to deal with gaydom reigning on our parade...
