Kentucky rep proposes bill only allowing married men—with wife's permission—to get Viagra

Kentucky Rep. Mary Lou Marzian might be my new favorite elected official. Marzian wants to make sure all of these boys who enjoy interfering with girls’ health rights don’t miss out on the fun themselves! She has introduced a bill, HB 396, which would require at least two doctor’s visits and a permission slip from one’s wife, before a man could acquire erectile disfunction-type drugs.

"I want to protect these men from themselves," said Marzian, a nurse.

HB 396 also specifies that only married men may obtain the drug and requires "a man to make a sworn statement with his hand on a Bible that he will only use a prescription for a drug for erectile dysfunction when having sexual relations with his current spouse."

"This is about family values," Marzian said.

She entered this bill in as a response to the recent SB4 bill that passed through both the Kentucky Senate and House recently.

The Kentucky House today passed anti-abortion measure SB4, which requires counseling 24 hours prior to an abortion. A House floor amendment and committee substitute added this evening allow for the use of telehealth to complete the counseling requirement.

SB4 adds an unnecessary barrier to safe and legal abortion procedures

It’s unlikely this bill will go anywhere because … Kentucky.

Also, knowing that guys can be a*******, it's not far fetched for a decent female to get pregnant by a guy she taught she was in a committed relationship, only to have the guy disappear once she tells him she is pregnant or to find out that the guy has 5 other kids. I used to be that chick who would say to other females how the hell you ain't know he had multiple other families, but Ive seen a friend of mine experience that and I would give that guy a prize for deception. He wouldn't have fooled me though.

I feel you. But this article is very misleading. It's not about abortion. She is doing this because her male counterparts keep bringing up things involving female reproductive system. These guys had the nerve to introduce legislation on how women use condoms and birth control. Contrary to what you guys may think birth control isn't just for THOTS to prevent pregnancy. In many cases birth control is needed to fix or regulate a health issue, such irregular bleeding, excessive bleeding, uterine growths, hormone regulations...the lists goes on. These men in Kentucky government are notorious for bringing up women's reproductive health only because of big pharma.

On the abortion issue, yes there a some chicks who use it like depository, but non of the legislation these men introduce target that.....they always just make blanket statements and their in s*** such as pregnancies resulting from rape, incest, genetic malformaties, etc. Which in Kentucky is prevalent since there is a lot of in breeding. It's just not about Becky sleeping with 10guys in one night and trying to have an abortion at 8 months.

Ab Gai if women have to have abortion thay prove how responsible they are with all the options available

Oh please!! All these men in government spend their time planning laws around my vagina. Now a soak in government proposes legislation and you guys lose your balls. Also, if memory serves right this legislation is in response to constant legislation being introduced by men to restrict women's reproductive rights in every aspect. This bill really is to show men what it's like when the shoe is on the other foot, what it feels like when woman dictates what a man can do with his penis (or not do).

El-Bull at this point sometimes you just got have fun with it if women can have free birth control why do we have abortion now if someone is married there is a law who can tell them how many vagra they can get shouldn't that be up to how much you can pay for or how much the health provider covers every month let's be realistic if a man is married and only allow two vagra a month which means he will only sleeps with his wife twice a MO th in this time we living in I guaranty you more women will be cheating and more marriages will end up in divorce but if you can remember in the many discussions we have had about several issues I told you folks just wait for it because so many people depends on government to fix their lives they Wil regulate what they want when they want again I am not worrying about things like if I need vagra I know how to get it but rest assure I turn tragedy into opportunity it would be better for people like it would be a good hustle I sell 100mg for $40 I wish there was such law all over the US anything that is connected to sex will always sell no matter the cost like I tell people I will never go broke and I will be filthy rich just give me sometimes just like every one are worrying about Trump I'm not I'm going to make all his policies work for me he has a pen I have a brain and time let these laws keep on coming I'll be waiting

This might be a good thing, less heart attack victims...lol , but seriously there's a ton of herbal remedies that folks will turn to that's probably healthier anyway...and if they insist on viagra they'll probably find it online.

Hey @mike k, I agree! Much more big issues than this as you, stated. Why is the government involved in policing people's sexuality? Family values is pure tee bs! Most of these legislators have no idea what that means when you get a look at their personal lives...

Sandra Fuller if you have access to birth control or abortions without permission from men, we don't need your permission to use Viagra....mr1stroke  sometimes men need Viagra to have sex with their women who have turned into witches, and have let themselves go/fall apart lmao married or not---know what i mean

This will never fly. Why are Americans so afraid of sex? Nobody wants to legislate guns and instruments of war and death but sex is their target for legislation.
