Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are once again engaged and the announcement was made by Jennifer Lopez in a short video shared to her fan newsletter, On The JLo, she also shared a clip of the video on Facebook Friday evening.
Rumours of Jennifer Lopez’s engagement to Ben Affleck began circulating after she was photographed wearing a diamond on her wedding finger while she and her 14-year-old daughter, Emme, shopped in Los Angeles.
The 52 years old superstar first started dating Affleck, who is now 49 years old, back in 2002, some 20 years ago and by November she was engaged with a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring worth $2.5 million.
While Lopez described her fiancé as “brilliantly smart, loving, charming and affectionate”, the 2003 wedding was postponed and ultimately cancelled in 2004 because of the massive attention from the media.
In June 2004 Lopez got married to Marc Anthony and had twins in 2008, while Affleck wedded Jennifer Garner in 2005 and had 3 children.
After divorcing and moving on to other love matches, Lopez and Affleck found themselves back together in 2021.

In the video, Lopez is staring lovingly at her green-hued diamond ring while romantic music plays in the background and she says in a voiceover “You’re perfect.”
