Idris Elba Blasts Cardi B - Calls Her 'STUPID'

Idris Elba Blasts Cardi B - Calls Her 'STUPID'!!

Actor Idris Elba is BLASTING Cardi B, calling the female rapper "stupid." The beef between Idris and Cardi was started by Cardi, when she suggested that many celebrities with the coronavirus - like Idris - were being paid to say they were infected.

According to Cardi, the coronavirus epidemic may all be "fake."

Cardi explained to her fans, "I see a celebrity come out and say, I have the coronavirus, but I don't have no symptoms [and you should] stay home." Cardi says that it "sounded like a flat tummy tea commercial."

Cardi later suggested that the celebrities - like Idris - were being "paid" to say they had the coronavirus.

Well Idris is now fighting back against Cardi B's misinformation - and he calls her stupid.

Idris told his fans, "The notion that someone like me is getting paid to say I have the coronavirus is bullish*t, just stupidness.  . . And people who say it are stupid."

Shots fired . . . . we wonder what Cardi's gonna do now:

Sabrina Dhowre became the latest celebrity to test positive for coronavirus days after husband, Idris Elba,  announced that he had tested positive.

While speaking to Oprah via livestream on her Apple TV+ series, “Oprah Talks”, the model told the talk show host that it was her instinct as a wife to stay by her husband’s side after his diagnosis.

The couple have been quarantined together for several days after Elba took to social media to announce that he had coronavirus. The actor said he was inspired to do so after Tom Hanks opened up about his diagnosis.

“We didn’t change the way we interacted,” Dhowre during the livestream.

“I could have made a decision to put myself in a separate room or maybe stay away and I’m sure people are making those decisions, they’re tough decisions to make. But I made the decision to want to be with him and still touch him.”

Elba believes he and his wife contracted the virus at about the same time, he told Oprah.

“On the day of the exposure, we were together at home and had been together right until I had departed to fly so at any point then,” he told Oprah during the livestream, “and prior to us knowing, if I’d caught it, she’d certainly have caught it in that time period as well.”

The couple has been asymptomatic, but both got tested anyway, according to TMZ.

“I don’t feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange. It might change in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep everyone updated.”

Over the last week, celebrities have been criticized for having access to the coronavirus testing while it has been hard for many others who do not have wealth and status to get tested.

TMZ reported that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the leading infectious disease specialist on The White House Coronavirus Task Force, urged people as late as Saturday not to get tested if they are asymptomatic.

Idris Elba Admits He’s ‘Worried About Having Asthma’ After Coronavirus Diagnosis

*Idris Elba is urging folks to stop spreading myths and theories on social media about the coronavirus.
A day after revealing he tested positive for the deadly disease, Elba posted videos slamming the “stupid” claims that Black people can not be infected.
“Thank you to everyone that’s shown a lot of support … Something that’s sort of scaring me when I read the comments and see some of the reactions is … My people, black people, black people: Please, please understand that coronavirus … you can get it, all right?” he said in a video. “There are so many stupid, ridiculous conspiracy theories about black people not being able to get it. That’s dumb, stupid.”

He continued: “That is the quickest way to get more black people killed. And I’m talking about, you know, the whole world. Wherever we are, please understand that you can get it. Stop sending out these stupid What’s App messages about black people not getting it … You’re making us all look stupid. Just know you have to be as vigilant as every other race. This disease does not discriminate … As a black person who has contracted the virus, it needs to be said.”

The English actor Elba went on to explain that he got tested for the coronavirus after learning he had come into contact with someone who was infected.

“On Friday, last week, I was told that someone that I had been in contact with had tested positive,” he said. “I’m on location, about to start a film, and the news breaks that this person—who’s also in the public eye—had tested positive, so it was definitely something I had to … quite honestly, my job made me test immediately. I had to test any way, because it meant putting a lot of people at risk if I had been exposed.”

With his wife Sabrina by his side, Elba revealed on social media on Monday that he tested positive for the virus.

“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing,” he posted on Twitter.

Hear him tell it via the Twitter video embeds above.

*Idris Elba hit up Twitter a day after revealing his positive coronavirus diagnosis to give fans an update on his health.

While he maintains he doesn’t have any symptoms, Elba has asthma so he’s worried how it will affect him since the virus targets the pulmonary system, PEOPLE reports.

“Yes, of course I’m worried,” he said on the livestream Q&A. “I’m worried about having asthma and how that could make things complicated very quickly. I’m very worried about what’s happening in the world, if I’m honest. I’ve very worried about how we’re dealing it. Part of speaking publicly about it part of me coping about how the world is dealing with it.”

Elba has previously spoken about having asthma and revealed in a 2018 interview that he went to a school for kids with special needs for two years because of it.

“Asthma was quite a dominating factor in my life early on, and I still carry a pump now,” he told RadioTimes.

“Yeah, that was a weird two years of my life,” he said of the school. “I was asthmatic, but I was fine as long as I wasn’t running around. But here I was at this amazing school that was full of kids with very severe disabilities, and kids who were just straight-up bad. I was chucked in the middle of that.”

On Monday, the acclaimed actor announced on social media that he tested positive for the virus.

“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19,” he wrote. “I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing No panic.”

The following day, the director-general of the World Health Organization has praised Idris for his “brave and powerful” message amid the pandemonium.

On Tuesday, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus took to Twitter to applaud Elba for speaking about COVID-19, “Take care and stay strong, @idriselba! I admire your brave and powerful message to the world. We’re all in this together. Solidarity will beat the #coronavirus,” he wrote.

In the livestream on Tuesday, Elba, 47, revealed that his wife, Sabrina, 30, is also in quarantine with him and awaiting her test results.

“Sabrina is doing good, she finally today managed to get a test,” he said. “Generally she’s fine. Nervous of course. Worried.”

Idris added, “Just for clarification, Sabrina wanted to be by my side. As much as we talked about her not coming to where I am, she did. She wanted to. I love her even more for it and I would do the same thing for her. Love is all you get, and who am I to turn down my wife’s support? As much as I want her to be safe, we calculated that risk and decided to be together.”

“I love Sabrina for standing by me and being in that video, it was the most important moment for me,” he continued.

Idris Elba says he has tested positive for the coronavirus. The actor tweeted Monday that he has no symptoms so far and has been isolated since Friday when he found out about his possible exposure. He says he sought out the test after discovering he had come into contact with someone who had been diagnosed with the new coronavirus.

Elba is the latest high profile celebrity to have tested positive for the virus. Last week, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson said they had also tested positively in Australia.

For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.

“This is serious. Now’s really the time to think about social distancing, washing your hands,” Elba said.

“We live in a divided world right now. We can all feel it,” he added. “But now’s the time for solidarity, for thinking about each other.”

"Stay home people and be pragmatic," he wrote.
He added: "Look we live in a divided world right now...but now is a time for solidarity. Now is a time for thinking about each other. There are so many people whose lives have been affected."
Elba's wife, Sabrina Dhowre appeared beside him in his video. Elba said she has not been tested but was "doing OK."
Elba, who is known for work as Heimdall in the Marvel film universe and recently appeared in "Cats," said he would provide updates on his condition.
"So far, we're feeling OK. Stay positive and don't freak out."
Elba is the latest high profile star to share news of his coronavirus diagnosis.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced they had tested positive for coronavirus last week.
On Sunday, Hanks provided an update on Instagram, sharing a photo of his vegemite and toast set beside a kangaroo toy.
"Thanks to the Helpers. Let's take care of ourselves and each other," he wrote.

What in the coronavirus is going on here ? He's fine and all but to get sick along with him,is taking the oath "till death do us part" to the extreme. I would be standing beside him in a whole hazmat suit. Fully covered from head to toe. I would be like, " I love you baby but I got to stay alive and healthy , so I can help you". " We gonna survive this ! " "Or at least one of us will". "But I'll be there for you!"
