20 year old Taylor Giresi of Belmar,NJ is being held in the Monmouth County jail in lieu of $135,000 cash bail, while his cohort, the unnamed juvenile, has been released to a parent. Giresi faces aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit assault for the two separate beating incidents as well as robbery and theft offenses.
The 17-year-old, who authorities say videotaped the attacks, has been charged with conspiracy to commit assault and is expected to be hit with additional theft charges, according to Wall Police Lt. Walter Pomphrey.
What makes matters worse is that the homeless victim was attacked the very next day by the same suspects after the first attack.
In the first video, Giresi and his accomplice stalk the victim at a makeshift camp in the woods, and brags about being 6 feet, 8 inches tall.
“About to go beat up this bum,” the young man says.“About to be a knockout,” the cameraman declares with a chuckle.
The video continues with the cameraman providing commentary about hunting for a “bum” as the pair enter the woods near some railroad tracks.
“Just dive on him! Dive on him!” the cameraman says on the video as the assailant approaches the disheveled-looking victim. The young man in the video knocks the homeless man to the ground, as the attacker and the cameraman dissolve into fits of laughter.
The assailant is seen walking through the camp before striking the man and running away. The young man in the video returns to victim again. As the cameraman urges him on, he punches the homeless man in the face, sending him sprawling to the ground.
The two then announce they are stealing the homeless man's bicycle.
“No, I need my bike!” the victim protests.
The young man smiles at the camera, then runs off with the bicycle as the cameraman yells, “Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or whatever the (expletive) you are.”
In a second video, the young man is seen attacking the man from behind as the cameraman records the assault and cheers him on to “Go, go, go!” The victim is punched, kicked and knocked to the ground. He slowly gets up and looks directly at the camera.
“Oh, my God, you're bleeding!” the cameraman says sarcastically. “We didn't mean to do that. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Wipe off the blood.”
The cameraman then directs the young man to give the victim a hug. The bleeding victim reaches out to hug his attacker, who then rams his knee into the homeless man's stomach or groin.
The homeless man begins to scream, prompting the attackers to leave, but not before the young man runs up and delivers a flying kick to the victim's head, knocking him to the ground.
“You gave him the big boot!” the cameraman exults. “The big boot!”
As bad as this story is, it could possibly have a happy ending.
An outpouring of support from around the nation has come in for Ivins and he has vowed to change his life around. He unfortunately suffered a seizure while picking up a donated bike at the police station but has rebounded from that.
Hopefully justice will prevail and these cowards will be on the other end of the boot real soon. And best of luck to the victim in turning things around, we know it won't be simple.

I did not watch the video, the title of the article is disturbing enough. Things like that makes my blood boil....very sad.
Since when beating up people, especially the elderly is fun? Something really wrong with these men, who surely would advance to worse crimes! May the suffer the full brunt of the law. At least something good is coming out of it, the homeless man may be better off now than he was before the beating. But it is still sad sigh
