Halle Berry attending the premiere of Aviron Pictures’ ‘Kidnap’ at ArcLight Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.
*Halle Berry caught heat last week after posting a video of her son Maceo, whom she shares with ex-husband Gabriel Martinez, wearing a pair of white knee-high heeled boots.
The actress is self-isolating with her children, and she posted the clip of the 6-year-old struggling to walk around in the large shoes in an atttempt to lift spirits amid the COVID-19 quarantine. While many didn’t see the harm in the video, others were more critical of the footage.
“Damn, he walks in heels better than I do,” one user replied, per Yahoo. “I’m jealous.”
“He’s better than me in heels,” echoed another.
But one hater said “this is how it starts,” (referring to transgenders and homosexuality).
Peep the post below that sparked fierce debate in Halle’s comments.
The Oscar-winning actress, who rarely shares photos of her son or 11-year-old daughter, Nahla, on social media, wrote in response to the rude comments: “[This is] harmless fun. It’s tight on these kids right now. Let’s have a laugh and some compassion yawl!”
She added, “Tryna survive right now, You feel me?”
Berry previously opened up about teaching her children about acceptance in a 2019 interview with Us Weekly, saying: “My job is to bring him down here, let him experience the love, the unity and discover on his own what this is all about,” she explained. “I think that’s what my job is. It’s not to mind-lead, it’s to lead an experience.”
Meanwhile, lately Halle has been encouraging her followers to practice social distancing through her “#fitnessfriday Quarantine Edition,” where she shares at-home workouts and her self-care routines on Instagram.
“To all those practicing #SocialDistancing, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the duty you are serving to your community,” she wrote in a recent post. “Things have been especially crazy, and self-care is an absolute essential right now.”

We must stop this behavior in our young male child. You are not to condone this behavior, the child needs to be told this is not what little boys do. Why do we continue to ruing the black males lives by not rising them as strong men, not weak feminine men. This is what the entertainment business is all about it is run by the homosexual community.
