The annual Met Gala hosted fashions most glamorous event on Monday night. This years event was hosted by American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour along with Sarah Jessica Parker and Bradley Cooper at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in Manhattan. Tickets went for $25,000, an increase on last year of $10,000. The theme was White Tie And Decorations, an ode to Anglo-American designer Charles James. It's billed as the most glamorous night of the fashion calendar and last night's Met Ball, held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York, did not disappoint.
After last year's punk theme, old-school elegance once again was the order of the evening, as the museum celebrated the opening of its show dedicated to couturier Charles James, with a theme of 'White Tie and Decorations'.
The annual event is hosted by American Vogue editor Anna Wintour - who this time round raised the price of a ticket from $10,000 to $25,000.
Kim and Kanye, who are set to marry later this month, looked more in love than ever, both opting for Lanvin outfits

Kim Kardashian redeemed herself after last year's fashion fail (who can forget that aggressive peony print disaster by Riccardo Tisci last year?) in a midnight-blue structured gown by Lanvin.
It was a fitting tribute to late British-born designer James, who was known for his highly structured aesthetic.
Rihanna too, looked unusually demure in a full-length, white dress with daring cut-outs, designed by Stella McCartney. The singer accessorised with white Louboutins - and Cara Delevingne, who stayed by her side at all times.
