Eddie Murphy’s Ex-Wife Nicole Murphy Says She’s Broke, Owes IRS

When Eddie Murphy and Nicole Murphy were divorced in 2006, she was awarded a$15 million settlement.
Nicole and Eddie Murphy were married for 12 years. They have 5 children
$10 million of it is now gone after Nicole was conned by a former friend she had known for 34 years.
According to the New York Post, Troy Stratos told Nicole that he would invest the money overseas where it would earn a high rate of return.
A federal lawsuit filed in Sacramento alleged that Stratos kept all of the funds and covered Nicole's expenses with her own money.
A majority of the funds were used to finance Stratos' lavish lifestyle.
A trial was set to begin on September 12, but Stratos suddenly decided to plead guilty this week.
It was initially thought that Stratos had stolen $7-8 million from Nicole. Unfortunately for her, it turned out to be much more.
on Wednesday, August 31, he pleaded guilty to 11 counts of wire and mail fraud, two counts of money laundering and one count of obstruction of justice.
The 50-year old is already serving prison time for wire fraud and money laundering after being found guilty in May 2015, of defrauding a Philadelphia investment group out of $11.25 million.
Nicole, 48, told TMZ that she hoped to get all of the money back, if not more. She added that if that wasn't possible she would still be OK financially.
Stratos could end up spending the rest of his life in prison. If convicted of wire and mail fraud he could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison for each crime.
Money laundering and obstruction of justice carry a maximum penalty of 10 years each.

Nicole Murphy is engaged to FOX NFL Today analyst and former NFL player Michael Strahan.
Things are looking up for ex-Giant Michael Strahan, not only did his new TV show, Brothers get picked up, he also got engaged to girlfriend of two years Nicole Murphy.
According to people.com, Strahan popped the question to Nicole (ex-wife of actor Eddie Murphy) on a beach in the Bahamas with a stunning canary yellow and white diamond ring.
Murphy, who has five children with her ex, wouldn’t comment about the plans for her future with Strahan. But he says that though they’ve talked about it, “There aren’t any plans for kids… We’ve got nine between us already.”
Damn that’s a whole lot of kids…

Here’s what went down according to the New York Post:
Murphy boasted in February 2008 that she and Strahan have a relationship based on “communication and shared interests.”
But she also had been sharing interests with Universal Records A&R exec Demetrius Spencer.
Introduced by a mutual pal, Murphy had been “hiding” her affection for Spencer from Strahan “for almost a year,” the sources said.
Using the excuse of “business trips,” a source said, Spencer and Murphy would jet off to exotic getaways in the Caribbean and Mexico.

For several months, the couple had exchanged gushing e-mails, professing their love for each other. In the notes, some of which were obtained by The Post, Murphy told Spencer she planned to come clean to Strahan about their relationship.
This isn’t the first time Michael has snooped on a lover, he did it to his ex-wife and sister-in-law.

@Big(Guns)Marie-(hahaha, hope you don't mind the moniker, but Hollywood seduces many woman into believing they are flawed to begin with and with the confessionals of numerous victims-er I mean former patients extolling the merits of nipping and tucking like it's as common as putting on cocoa butter and hand lotion! Unfortunate unlike Victoria the secret is out on cosmetic butchery...once they hack, you can't go back!
I have no problem with corrective surgery if there are accidents or unsightly scars that someone wants removed, but just to use yourself as a clay mold personified is frightening and I think hints at other issues.... I mean is that a smile or does she have drawstrings in her cheeks? Not hating, I just enjoy admiring natural beauty and I don't believe man can improve on Nature's beauty.
Well the former Mrs. Murphy can cop a walk on part on Vampire Diaries or True Blood with that latest look! Although I hate to mention the blood sucking craze that is so common right now, but if the fangs fit...bite it Nicole! You got them there incisors in my man Strahan and he's a future Hall of Fame inductee...damn she's good....but he shoulda stayed with Eva Pigford athough she was younger...muppet-headed Mike!
