The Atlanta rapper took to social media, after he claims that a gay fan approached him with compliments and “all that extra sh*t.”
During his Instagram Live session earlier this week and ripped and posted online around July 1, Waka spoke on a recent encounter where a gay person approached him overzealously while he was in an airport. While he says he doesn't have any issues with people being interested in men, he doesn't appreciate a man approaching him in such an apparently flirtatious way.
"I understand yall folks got y'all month and all that," Waka Flocka said on his IG Live. "Nothing against nobody's sexual preference, nothing. But look, I ain't with that. So don't approach me, don't be having too many compliments and doing all that extra s***. It's out of pocket and disrespectful."
In another part of the video, Waka aims his camera at a man sitting next to him. The man utters what appear to be some lyrics threatening to shoot someone, and some people believe Waka is saying he'll have any gay man who attempts to flirt with him shot.
It appears that Waka suspected that the fan was making romantic advances towards him, and the rapper was offended.
Waka continued on, claiming that he’s not with the “f*c* sh*t.”
Then the rapper appeared to threaten violence against gay people.
Waka turned to his friend who said that he will “shoot” people. The rapper’s friend claimed that he is the “local shooter.”

Last week, Waka Flocka came under fire for allegedly criticizing gay people for “having their own month.”
Many LGBTQ activists blasted the rapper for what they considered “homophobia.”
The rapper/reality star claims that his comments were taken out of context, and that he doesn’t hate gay people.
