DAMMNN! Huge Bald Spot Revealed On Supermodel Naomi Campbell's Head During Photoshoot. They say if this continues she will end up like this woman (Watch Video)

Bald patch: Naomi Campbell revealed signs of serious hair loss on a fashion photoshoot in New York today

DailyMail.co.uk: Her wild behaviour is often shocking, but Naomi Campbell caused jaws to drop for entirely different reasons today.
The supermodel left onlookers stunned as she revealed a huge bald patch beneath her long luscious wig while on a fashion shoot for designer Dennis Basso in New York.

The 40-year-old has revealed signs of a vanishing hairline before, but the true extent of the problem was put on show as she held her hair back as a stylist adjusted her clothing.

It appears that years of wearing tight hair extensions have taken a toll on the model's natural hair, causing severe breakage.
Hair loss associated with hair braiding, weaving and extensions is known as 'traction alopecia'.

Quick fix: A hairdresser was on hand to attend to her mane

Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham and Alexandra Burke are all reported to have suffered similar symptoms as a result of their extensions.
While prolonged traction can cause permanent loss of hair in the affected areas, it is reversible if caught early.
Trichologist to the stars Philip Kingsley said tight hair styles, pony tails, hard brushing and hair extensions could all lead to traction hair loss.

'The old-fashion hair extensions were put in by weaving threads which had hairs attached to them between the natural hair,' he said.
'They were weaved next to the scalp and tightly knotted at each end to secure them.'

She's pumped: Naomi posed up at a petrol station in the Meatpacking district

'Because of their proximity to the scalp, the thread, which the hair knotted onto it, rubbed on the scalp, caused irritation, consequently making it sore and sometimes breaking the skin.'
He said the new way to put in hair extensions, which involves glue-heating them onto natural hairs, could cause similar problems.

'The biggest potential problem is traction hair loss and breakage because of the pulling involved.'
But Naomi appeared oblivious to the revelation as she posed at a gas station in the Meatpacking district.

She wore a green swimsuit that put her long, lean legs on show and also paraded a series of fur coats.
The former Peta campaigner famously declared in the Nineties that she would rather go naked than wear fur but she had a change of heart some years back.

That comes from all that fronting, over uses of wigs, hair weaves, chemical sprays, chemical shampoos, and most of all those dog gone toxic perms. You women better take heed to what your seeing and stop denying the real. That European culture/style dont flow with us. All these add-ons, artificial things and unnatural ways of living is ripping us apart. The natural way is the best way for us people of color. We hurt every time we go against what is natural......Our hair, nails, skin and eyes are quick tells on how health a person is, better start paying attention.
P.S. Eat right, and with a balance. Keep the stress down as much as possible at all times also, this causes those breakdowns and breakouts too...

The only thing super about her is the Super in Super Model. Other than that, she's a black woman with normal "nappy" features as someone put it. Dunno why y'all shocked to see she normal like the rest of you.

As for that video revelation, I have no words. Her head did look like some mad ooman wah deh walk pon street.

That scene was UUUUUGGGGGLLLLLYYYY! DAMN!!

Naomi.....say it ain't so. I guess you can't have it all! Well....at least you have a great body! I would not want to be the man that wakes up to seeing a mess like that in the morning. I see you in a different light now Ms. Campbell. I recommend you shave the remainder of what hair you have left completely off your head and get proper treatments.

This is aweful. I hope Ms. Campbell does not end up with any hair. Regardless she is still beautiful with or without.
