D.L. Hughley Update: He Tested Positive for COVID19 After Collapsing At Club / Video 16AEF382-9B61-460A-84D0-54B3E0C8EC44_1_201_a

D.L. Hughley talks about having COVID-19

D.L. Hughley is calling himself “Typhoid Mary” these days after learning that he unknowingly spread COVID-19 to his entire team.

The actor told TMZ that he was asymptomatic when he passed out on stage last month in Nashville. His team rushed in to take care of him, and now they are all in need of care. In fact, Hughley believes he spread the virus to a large number of people, and that he may have caught the virus while visiting Dallas for a few days doing some shows.

Hughley said he’s close to the end of his quarantine and still has yet to experience any symptoms. He’s been running four or five miles a day and feels “great,” but the experience has opened his eyes.

D. L. Hughley Passes Out on Stage While Performing His Comedy Routine / WATCH! DL Hughley (Instagram)

Earlier, we posted news of comedian D. L Hughley collapsing on-stage during a comedy show in Nashville. Now, he says he’s tested positive for COVID-19.

Saturday night Hughley, 57, posted a video on Instagram, saying he received the diagnosis after a series of tests at Nashville’s Saint Thomas Hospital.

“I was what they call asymptomatic,” Hughley said in the video. “I didn’t have flu-like symptoms, I didn’t have shortness of breath, I didn’t have difficulty breathing, I didn’t have a cough, I didn’t have a low-grade fever. I still don’t have a fever. I didn’t have a loss of smell or taste, apparently I just lost consciousness.”

Funnyman D.L. Hughley was doing this thing on stage Friday night on stage in Nashville when all of a sudden it was lights out for him. You

Yep, he was entertaining a sold-out crowd at Zanies Comedy Club when all of a sudden, at approximately 11 PM, it appeared something wasn’t right. His speech became labored. A security guard handed D.L. a bottle of water, and a minute later he was out cold while he was leaning against a stool.

The comedian’s manager was ready and grabbed D.L. to break his fall. The manager carried him off stage and that was it … no one told the crowd what happened, but it was serious enough for an ambulance and fire truck to show up. D.L. was put on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital.

Well, we’ve got an update and it’s good news. D.L. is gonna be okay. His rep told TMZ that he was “suffering from exhaustion after all the week’s work and travel, and was kept overnight at the hospital for tests under doctor’s orders. He is awake and feeling better, and wishes to thank everyone for the very kind prayer and thoughts.”

Hmm, we can’t with hear what he – or some other comic – has to say about the incident. We’re also wondering if D.L.’s passing out has anything to do with the fact that he almost ALWAYS has a drink in his hand.

A nice publicity, convenient excuse. Some drink ,smoke, maybe a little extra substance ,exhaustion. But a easy excuse the Coronavirus, there are doctors nurses, emergency Health responders who work 12-14 hours a day. Exposed to the Coronavirus and they don't collapse, like a comedian whose only difficulty is getting onstage and remembering his material .

Come on did they really have to drag him off stage and stead of carry him. I guess the fear set in so they dragged him off. I pray that he will be OK and will recover soon. I'm searching around different media outlet to see have anyone else heard about D. L. H having the virus.

The word from CNN as a woman spoke about Trump and slowing down testing. A woman was saying that D. L. has the virus. This most likely if true of him not knowing and falling out. Or did he know. This virus is still spreading and people must realize its long from over and to not slack up with protecting oneself.
