The unidentified 25-year-old woman reportedly grazed by a police bullet returns to her home hours after the early-morning incident after being discharged from a local hospital.

An NYPD officer accidentally shot a woman while searching a Brooklyn apartment Thursday morning.

Police say the officer was in the third floor apartment on Clarendon Road when he accidentally fired his weapon just before 8 a.m.

The shot went through the floor and struck a 25-year-old woman in an apartment below.

She was rushed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The victim has been treated and released, but her identity has not been revealed.

The officer, assigned to Brooklyn South Narcotics, was not injured.

He was part of a group searching the apartment during a routine drug raid. Two people were taken into custody, and officers reportedly found narcotics, possibly crack cocaine.

Thank God this particular time didn't result in the death of a Black man, boy or woman.

Absolutely ridiculous.. Daaam fool, his dumb reckless a** should be fired the minute they return to the precinct. Going crazy searching, taring up some ones home for some dag gone drugs. That women could've been killed! What if that hit her or someone else in the head? This is the very reason why N.Y. C. has so many law suits. These cops need to be retrained, I'm gonna keep saying it, and Ray Kelly needs to be fired, his track record sucks!!
