The weight of constantly having to deal with the fallout of his domestic violence case has become to much for Chris Brown to deal with.
Brown was convicted in August 2009 of assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna in February of that same year. He was sentenced to five years probation and community service. Since that point he's been constantly reminded by the media and fans of his mistake.
Today, Chris announced via Twitter that he will probably retire from music at the age of 24, when his sixth studio album is released.
"Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent," Chris wrote. "I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!"
Do you think Chris will walk away from the game?

It have nothing to do with Rihanna. She moved on and is in Barbados enjoying her Crop Over and helping her people.
She is surrounded by strong Caribbean people and a good PR team.
Get a hold of your life Chris. Everybody go through difficult times.
Start doing some charity work and the public will be on your side again. Its the way America works.
Good points @Boots. Rich people think positive and it is the reason why they had the drive to get rich. Not talking about lottery winners and trust fund babies.
Rich will look at Chris situation for what it is. An incident between him and Riri should not be lingering forever even if the public is on your back.
R Kelly who messed with an underage girl and he can get pass that. A domestic incident like this, he can get pass too. He need to stick with positive people to figure out how to get there. He is talented but need guidance and how to fix the situation. Most of these guys end up broke because they don't surround themselves with positive people on how to keep the money flowing and stay out of trouble.
His record is proof he is not doing much to get there.
Crying like a baby will not get him anywhere.
