A Secret Service Agent Could Be The Key To Getting Chris Brown's D.C. Assault Charges Dropped

Mike Tyson Gives Chris Brown Some Advice {VIDEOS} As He Enters Rehab Facility For Anger Management

Chris Brown may get help from a very unlikely source in his Washington, D.C. assault case.

TMZ reports that in official documents from the case a Secret Service Agent in charge of guarding President Obama, was on patrol near the White House when he heard the alleged assault victim tell a D.C. cop that Brown wasn't the person who hit him.

The cop later denied being told that information, but the Secret Service agent is sure of what he heard.

It's potentially a big break for Brown. The singer has maintained all along that the alleged victim was one of two men who tried to board his tour bus and his bodyguard took care of the situation.

If the misdemeanor charges in D.C. are dropped there wouldn't seem to be a reason for Los Angeles authorities to revoke the singer's probation and sentence him to jail time.

Brown has voluntarily checked into an anger management rehab facility in Malibu, California. He will remain there for the next three months.

Amid speculation that he could be headed to jail following an assault charge in Washington, D.C., Chris Brown has entered and anger management rehab facility in Malibu, California.

Brown's attorney, Mark Geregos, dropped him off on Tuesday (October 29). Brown's mother and girlfriend Karrueche Tran accompanied the singer to the facility.

A statement was issued by Chris' reps Tuesday night.

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

The super talented, but troubled superstar could be facing up to four years in jail if a Los Angeles judge overseeing his case determines he violated his probation stemming from his 2009 assault of Rihanna.

CNN reports that the L.A. district attorney is unlikely to cut Brown any slack and seek to have him jailed.

By putting his client into rehab Geragos could argue that Brown is getting help for his anger issues and deserves leniency.

Chris Brown just caught a big break in Washington, D.C. *UPDATE* Charges Reduced To A Misdemeanor. Chaotic Scene As Chris Leaves Court [Video

Mike Tyson has pretty much seen it all in his 47 years. He rose from the mean streets of Brooklyn, New York to become the youngest heavyweight champion in history. Over the years he's been in trouble with the law, seen the millions of dollars he earned in the ring dwindle down to nothing, battled a substance abuse problem and bounced back.

So who could offer Chris Brown better advice than Iron Mike?

Mike appeared on New York City radio station 95.5's Scott and Todd in the Morningshow earlier today and spoke about Chris' problems and what could become of him if he doesn't clean up his act.

"I like and admire that little guy, but really what he needs to understand is eventually if you keep doing that stuff people will turn on you," Mike said. "The press will make the whole people turn on you and make you [look] bad. He's selling out arenas and they could make people turn. I know he might say, 'never me.' That's what I said. Then nobody wanted to have anything to do with me. If he keeps getting these violent cases. He's arrested for assaults here, assaults there. They're gonna put him somewhere where all they do is assault people."

Lawyer From The Cochran Firm On Chris Brown's Felony Assault Arrest In D.C. "It's A Strong Likelihood That He Will Do Some Time" [VIDEO]

Chris just caught a big break in his Washington, D.C. assault case. When he appeared before the judge today his charge of felony assault was reduced to a misdemeanor, according to TMZ

The singer was released without bail. He was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the victim, who reportedly has a fractured nasal bones after being punched in the face by Chris.

Brown's bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, allegedly punched the victim once Chris was finished. His charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

In Chris' statement to police he said the incident started when the victim and another man tried to board the singer's tour bus and his bodyguard "handled it."

The scene was nothing short of chaotic when Chris left court after being released a short while ago. Photographers are everywhere, women are screaming and reporters are firing questions at Breezy while he is being escorted away by police and bodyguards. Watch it below.

Chris Brown has been arrested and charged with felony assault after getting into a fight with a man outside of the W Hotel in Washington, D.C.

According to TMZ, two women approached Chris and asked if he would take a photo with them. Chris said yes, but then two men rushed over to try to include themselves in the photo.

Brown told the men: "I'm not into this gay sh*t, I'm into boxing."

He then punched one of the men in the face before the fight went to the ground. When police arrived on the scene they took Chris and his bodyguard into custody.

Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Assault After Alleged Attack On Washington, D.C. Man

Attorney Mark Geragos has worked miracles keeping Chris Brown out of jail over the last several years. Following Brown's arrest on Sunday in Washington, D.C., Geragos will be facing his toughest challenge yet.

Brown was arrested for felony assault after allegedly punching a man in the face in front on the W Hotel.

The singer, who is already on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, has managed to avoid jail time since then despite highly publicized 2012 brawl with Drake in New York City and a fight in January of this year with Frank Ocean in Los Angeles. He also was involved in a May hit and run accident in L.A.

HipHollywood spoke to attorney Jamon R. Hicks of The Cochran Firm to get his opinion on what could happen to Brown following his latest run-in with the law,

"I would say that it's a strong likelihood that we will probably do some time," Hicks said."Probably not prison time. Probably county jail time. But the fact that he's facing up to four years, I think they'll give him something. I think it's bad for a few reasons. One is it happened out of state. He went to another jurisdiction and picked up a new arrest. What's most troubling is that it's for the same type of behavior. Maybe if it was like a petty theft or something that was different they may give him some leniency. But another aggressive fight, it's not a good look for Chris Brown."

Chris Brown was on his way from Los Angeles to New York to attend the Met Gala event.

Brown is still being held in a D.C. jail pending a court hearing today.

He is due back in a Los Angeles court on November 20 to update a judge on his probation. At that time it could be revoked depending on how the case in D.C. turns out.

Chris Brown could face up to four years in prison if he is convicted of felony assault, after he allegedly attacked a man in Washington D.C. early Sunday morning.

Chris Brown was arrested Sunday morning for allegedly attacking a man outside of Washington’s W Hotel.

The 24-year-old "Forever" singer got into a 4:30 a.m. altercation with a man outside the inn and punched him, resulting in his arrest for felony assault, a D.C. police spokesman said.

Chris Hollosy, 35, was also arrested for felony assault, the spokesman Paul Metcalf said.

Brown did not appear to be under the influence of any substances, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Police believe the two men were together during the incident but Metcalf couldn't confirm any relationship between the suspects

One of the men was injured in the fight, requiring treatment, but cops did not say which of the men was the apparent loser in the brawl.

Brown and Hollosy were being held in police custody until Monday, Metcalf said.

The singer is still on probation from his 2009 attack on singer Rihanna, his then girlfriend.

Brown’s publicists and attorney, Mark Geragos, did not immediately respond to messages left early Sunday.

Brown has been on probation stemming from the 2009 attack on pop singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time.

The photos of Rihanna’s bruised face caused outrage among many fans. Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault as part of a plea deal.

In July his probation was briefly revoked after he was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles, but it was later reinstated in August.

The singer has also been involved in subsequent altercations with fellow musicians Drake and Frank Ocean, though neither of those resulted in criminal charges.

Ocean said he suffered an injured finger in the Los Angeles incident, but no charges were filed. A second man, Sha’keir Duarte, sued Brown, claiming a concussion.

A new felony assault charge could be grounds for probation violation. Brown is due back in court Nov. 20 in Los Angeles to update a judge on his probation.

I agree that he will likely see some jail time, because of his history with crime at his age!

I think people are so judgmental. W/O even knowing all the facts everyone has already sentenced the guy. As soon as people hear his name he's guilty. So 'The Media' is always right to some. I just think ppl need to cut him some slack.

He needs God in his life, without that your empty inside, you have the money and the fame but having a relationship with God is the only way, you been through counseling but it didn't change you, once you receive the lord as your savior he takes over your heart which is changed forever, you will have challenges but you will overcome them bc Jesus will see you through.....be encouraged and turn your life over to the lord. I have a friend you who had a bad temper worse than yours, his demons were raging up all the time until one day he was confronted with these guys in the neighborhood who shot him ten times, he lived and later we ended up going to church together and he gave his life over to the lord and now he is a changed person, it didn't take overnight but he knows now that God loves him.....and God wants to show you his love Chris.

@kingstonja14.... thank you!!! though I agree with all of the other comments, that could very much be possible, ppl have no clue how EVIL that entertainment world really is until you've been on the inside, I've turned down several opportunities to model, I was like hell no without a second thought, a friend of mine just called me the other night from VA asking me if I wanted to do a photo shoot for the fun and be in her new video, HELL NO because one thing leads to another in that world...bottom line, when these ppl first come out their angelic then months later their demons, now really ask yourself...........WHY? why are these ppl suddenly acting out in such ways? The key words are ACTING OUT!!!!!! if these people are living their dreams, then why so much anger and negative behavior. enough money to travel just about anywhere on this planet.... there's a lot of rape and back stabbing in that world, I have quit a few friends and family members who has had deep experiences in that world, evil comes in all colors.....bless and love!!!
