Prime Minister Andrew Holness concluded his official working visit to the People’s Republic of China.
The trip commenced with a bilateral meeting with President Xi Jingping and an address to the opening ceremony of the China International Import Exposition in Shanghai.
Prime Minister Holness then travelled to Beijing, where he held further bilateral talks with Premier Li Kequiang.
During the trip, the PM was treated a rendition of Toast by the Jamaican reggae singer Koffee – courtesy of the Chinese military band and shared his delight via social media saying:
It gave me such joy to hear Toast by Koffee played for the Jamaican delegation by the Chinese military band in Beijing. This shows the powerful and far-reaching impact of our music and culture.
