Police are investigating a shocking case of child cruelty in which a father appears to be dragging his daughter around a supermarket with her hair tied to a trolley.

He continued with his shopping despite the girl begging for him to stop and other shoppers telling him to let her free.

Erika Burch took pictures of the incident and uploaded them to Facebook while police at a branch of Walmart in Cleveland, Ohio, have said they are investigating.

Erika wrote: ‘He had her hair wrapped around the buggy dragging her! She is begging him to stop! She was saying “Please stop, I promise I wont do it again please stop!”

‘I took my phone out snapped pictures and then told him to let the little girls hair go! He told me to mind my own business! I said no im not! Right now this little girl is my business and you need to let her hair go now! He said “I grew up just fine!”.’

She said that a police officer at the scene would not intervene because none of the girl’s hair was missing and there were no signs of bruising.

She claimed that the officer said ‘he has the right to discipline his children’.

However Cleveland Police Department later posted on Facebook to say that they were investigating

Comment by mr1stroke on September 22, 2016 at 12:00pm: i dont care about black or white chinese any one who abuse children should be shot, never mind what they should do to them, the abuse should not take place regardless, but i always say i will take my own life if i ever abuse my daughter in anyway, my job is to protect provide for her make sure she is as comfortable as can be in this world, i dont care what people say about me, thats why people say i have too much eagle i do s*** for me the rest of the world dont matter, because the best job and responsibility i ever have in this world is being a father and i enjoy it more than anything, no one comes before my daughter no one matters, so i make no excuses for people who abuses their kids

Still, there is no excuse for it. What he did was indeed FOUL.
