RESIDENTS of Whitfield Avenue in St Andrew are pleading with the authorities to remove three burnt out bodies which have been lying in the community since Monday.
The rotting remains are those of three family members who were killed during an arson attack which was launched on a house in the area by thugs.
The residents claim they have been unable to get assistance as they were barricaded inside their community. They claim funeral home workers were denied access as the roads were blocked by persons who are in solidarity with wanted fugitive, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.
"This is wickedness. The people done dead already and rain come and fall on them and the sun come shine on them," one woman said.
The residents say they fear for their health and pleaded with the authorities to come to their assistance.
When the Observer roving team visited the area, the stench of the dead bodies was overpowering. Flies were seen hovering around the corpses and charred body parts were clearly visible.
Residents said the community was invaded by members of the Stinger gang who fired a barrage of shots and torched the house with the three persons inside.
