'I'm a woman': Tearful Bruce Jenner reveals he is transitioning to his 'true self' in Diane Sawyer interview which will be his last as a man {VIDEO}
Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kris Humphries has 'sincerely' apologised for a cruel tweet about Bruce Jenner's transition interview, saying he 'fully supports' the former Olympian.
The NBA athlete had shared: 'Man, I'm glad I got out when I did,' on Twitter on Friday after the show aired, along with the hashtag: #Gottadoyou.'
But Kris took to the social networking site on Saturday morning to explain that he didn't mean the message the way it sounded.

'Fully support Bruce': Kris Humphries has apologised for a cruel tweet about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's stepfather Bruce Jenner, after the Olympian revealed he is a woman. Kris and Bruce are seen here at the rehearsal dinner for Kris and Kim's wedding in 2011
'I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across,' he wrote.
Clarifying his feelings further, Kris added: '#FullySupportBruce.'
Kris, who suggested that he left Kim rather than the other way around, had received backlash for his comment about Bruce's interview with Diane Sawyer.
'I was too vague': The athlete took to Twitter on Saturday morning to clarify what he meant, and said he is 'sincerely' sorry
Facing backlash: Kris found himself in hot water after tweeting, 'Man, I'm glad I got out when I did'
Ex factor: Kris, pictured with Kim in October 2011, was married to the reality TV star for just 72 days before she filed divorce
The 29-year-old basketball player was married to the reality star for just 72 days in 2011 before she filed divorce.
Their wedding preparations and the ceremony itself aired on E! in a two-part TV special in early October, just weeks before Kim ended it.
Kris filed his response to her petition, requesting an annulment or a decree of legal separation rather than divorce on the grounds of fraud, claiming their wedding had been used as a publicity stunt to promote the Kardashian family brand.
Attempting to stay relevant: Kris has largely disappeared from the celebrity spotlight, but took the opportunity to share his thoughts about his former father-in-law
KRIS JENNER: 'Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.' (She also lashed out out at Diane Sawyer for claiming she did not provide a comment to ABC on Bruce).
KIM KARDASHIAN: 'Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter'
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN: 'Couldn't be a more proud daughter. With courage and bravery, let's change the world. I am honored to stand by Bruce's side and support him.'
SCOTT DISICK: No public comment as yet.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN: 'Just finished watching the #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I'm soooo proud of you! Dads really are heros'
ROB KARDASHIAN: 'You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you. LOVE YOU!'
KENDALL JENNER: 'I love you. so very proud of you, my hero.'
KYLIE JENNER: 'Understandingly, this has been very hard for me. You will hear what I have to say when I'm ready to but this isn't about me. I'm so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful Hero.'
BRANDON JENNER 'Proud son.' (Brandon and his wife Leah joined his siblings Burt, Brody and Casey on the Diane Sawyer interview, where they all voiced their support for Bruce.)
It wasn't until June 2013 that the former couple reached a divorce settlement.
Kris' comment about Jenner is in stark contrast to how Kim's current husband Kanye West reacted.
In a touching story, Jenner told Diane Sawyer the rapper helped his wife reach an understanding about her stepfather's gender identity.
He said: ‘Kim told me a story. She goes, “You know what really turned me around on thinking about this?” I said, “What?” She goes, “Kanye.” I went, “Oh, okay.”’
Supportive: Kim's current husband Kanye West helped her come to terms with Bruce Jenner's gender transition
Jenner continued: ‘He says to Kim, “Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything.”’
Bruce also revealed during the interview that Kim caught him wearing a dress years ago.
The former decathlete said it became a 'big secret,' which they never discussed again until transition rumours recently surfaced.
It took Kim some time to adjust to the idea, but with Kanye's help she has become Jenner's trusted confidante.
Jenner added: ‘Since then, Kimberly has been, by far, the most accepting, and the easiest to talk to about it.’
Candid interview: The Olympic hero told his story in a moving tell-all with Diane Sawyer on Friday
LAVERNE COX: Sending lots of love and support to #BruceJenner and their family tonight. It is always brave to stand in one's truth. Congrats darling.
ROB LOWE: I was proud of Bruce Jenner in Montreal and I'm proud of him tonight. Some have to fight more than the rest of us for their happiness.
ELLEN DEGENERES: Bruce Jenner is a beautiful, brave human being. Sending him lots of love. He's saving lives and opening minds tonight.
MILEY CYRUS: I LOOOOVE LOOOVE LOOOVE Bruce Jenner!!!!!!!
LADY GAGA: #BruceJennerABC Now that is bravery. We have the chance to write this moment in history together. Let's empower people like Bruce all over the world by being loving & not mean
JIMMY FALLON: One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. #BruceJenner #Brave
LARRY KING: I've interviewed #BruceJenner many times, and I'm in his corner. I support him & offer my respect.
ANDY COHEN: Mazel Tov to #BruceJenner - very very brave!!!
ELTON JOHN It's an incredibly brave thing to do, especially when you're older. I admire him for doing it and I support him 100 percent.
DR PHIL McGRAW I am so happy for him. This is his body and his life, and he needs to do what he wants to do. It drains your spirit if you can't be yourself. He is freeing himself.
LENA DUNHAM: I think it's an incredibly powerful and brave move to disclose anything about your gender identity or sexuality in such a judgmental society. The interview is going to mean a lot to a lot of young people.
PATRICIA ARQUETTE: You have to be so brave to live this truth of who you are. And if Mrs. Jenner is transitioning, I give all my support to her and love and appreciate everything she’s given to America. She’s fighting a fight for a lot of kids that are being kicked out of their own homes. Society turns their back on these kids and it’s really brutal.
BOY GEORGE: I absolutely applaud what [Jenner’s] doing and I think it’s very brave. And it actually makes me quite emotional. [Jenner] has my 150 percent support in every way. I think that the whole transgender thing is the new frontier.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: This is going to be a little bit of a game changer for people, and dealing with family and how people feel and having those conversations, this is going to be much bigger than ABC or Diane (Sawyer),
JEFFREY TAMBOR: Any movement toward authenticity is an important movement and everyone can relate to it.
DONALD TRUMP: It's very sad because he doesn't seem very happy, and maybe whatever he’s going to be doing will make him happy. If he's happy, I'm happy.
KIRSTIE ALLEY: Trying to find a place for myself midst a world that has mistaken bravery for insanity...Mandela was brave...the rest of this sh*t is absurd. (She later insisted the tweet had nothing to do with Bruce).
WENDY WILLIAMS: I feel duped by Bruce… I don’t feel duped because he’s turning into a woman. I feel duped because he’s the same fame whore as the rest of the family. Bruce has bigger fish to fry than turning into Belinda. He should have thought about [transitioning] before he had all the kids… Belinda, shame on you!

Bruce Jenner will be doing a his-and-her duet all by himself': Jamie Foxx accused of transphobia after cruel awards show joke {VIDEO} Did Jamie go too far?
Bruce Jenner has revealed that he identifies as a woman - his 'true self' and a childhood dream - in an explosive ABC interview with Diane Sawyer.
The 65-year-old Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star sparked rumors about his gender identity last year after visibly altering his appearance.
And tonight, he confirmed that he is reinventing himself physically in a bid to transition from male to female in the highly-anticipated, intimate sit-down.
Speaking in front of millions of viewers, including Kim Kardashian and her family, Bruce tearfully revealed: 'To all extents and purposes, I am a woman.
'My brain is much more female than it is male. That's what my soul is. Bruce lives a lie. She is not a lie.' He firmly added: 'I can't do it anymore.'
During the interview, Bruce also admitted that he has been taking female hormones for five years - and plans to completely transform into a woman.
However, he said he still fancied females. 'I was never attracted to the guys,' he said, explaining how his sexuality is separate to his gender identity.
And he denied that his revelations were for publicity purposes. Instead, he made them due to his inability to continue to 'pull the curtain', he said.
Many viewers and celebrities are currently taking to social media to congratulate Bruce on making a giant leap for the transgender community.
However, others are expressing concern that his TV appearance is turning transgenderism into a spectacle.

Emotional: Speaking in front of millions of viewers on ABC, Bruce revealed through tears: 'To all extents and purposes, I am a woman'
Living a lie: The reality star added: 'My brain is much more female than it is male. That's what my soul is. Bruce lives a lie. She is not a lie'
Intimate: Many hope the program, titled 'Bruce Jenner: The Interview', could be a giant leap for the transgender community. Above, Diane

Addressing Diane in preview clips of the interview, released by ABC today, Bruce reveals: 'My whole life has been getting me ready for this'
Greeting: The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is pictured greeting Diane Sawyer at his mansion in a preview clip
Support: Bruce (left), who has been married three times and fathered six children, finalized the divorce to his third wife, reality star Kris Jenner, last December. Tonight, Kris's daughter, Kim (right), revealed her family would be watching the sit-down at 9pm EDT together
At the start of tonight's program, simply titled 'Bruce Jenner: The Interview', Diane asked Bruce: 'Are you ready?', to which he replied: 'I am, let's do it.'
The star continued: 'You know what... it's going to be tough. I've been thinking about this day forever and what I should do with my life. How do I tell my story, how do I tell people what i've been through... And that day is today.' He then asked Diane for a tissue and used it to wipe his tear-filled eyes.
Clutching the tissue, Bruce remarked: 'We have to keep our sense of humor about this. Me of all people - Bruce Jenner - has to deal with these issues.'
Seconds later, he answered the question that has been on everyone's lips for the past year - is he transitioning into a woman?
'I have always been very confused with my gender identity since I was this big,' admitted Bruce, lowering his hand to several feet above the ground.
He continued: 'My whole life has been getting me ready for this. I'm really excited about the future, about what good I could do in the world.'
He then revealed how he had explained his identity to his children. He told them: 'God's looking down, making little Bruce. He gave me all these wonderful qualities. [But then He thought] wait a second, we've got to give him something in his life to struggle with. Let's give him the soul of a female.'
Despite his self-proclaimed 'female soul', Bruce said he does not describe himself as a woman stuck in a man's body. 'I'm a person and that's who I am,' he said. 'I'm not stuck in anyone's body. It's just me. It's who I am.' He added that tonight's interview will be his last one as Bruce, as a 'he'.
And when asked if he dreams as a woman, he said he 'always' has done.
Before tonight's interview, ABC had refused to confirm exactly what the 1976 Olympic decathlon winner would speak about. Instead, the network simply promoted the sit-down as being 'wide-ranging'. Diane also declined to confirm what the interview would cover - but said it would be 'fascinating'.

She added that the 'fascinating and interesting' interview would cover Bruce's children's reactions - and 'what they do to try and be a family again'.
Speaking earlier today, Diane revealed what she hopes viewers will take away from the revelations. 'I hope people talk with other people, with families, with friends, because there is so much to think about,' she said. ‘Not just about what he is going to tell you but about everyone’s life.'
Previous promo clips had seen Bruce admit his priority is his family, telling Diane: 'I can't let myself hurt them. They're the only ones I'm concerned with.' He also says: 'My whole life has been getting ready for this … I wanna know how this story ends, you know? How does my story end?'
In a clip released on Thursday, a somewhat anxious Bruce admits: 'It's going to be an emotional rollercoaster, but somehow I'm gonna get through it.'
And in another, he says: 'I feel like I’m going to be OK. 2015 is going to be quite a ride... Quite a ride.'

Jamie then added: 'Look, I’m just busting your balls while I still can.'
Although Bruce has still yet to publicly discuss his rumored gender reassignment, it didn't stop host Foxx from receiving a backlash on Twitter over his remarks.
Perez Hilton was first to tweet complaining: 'Boo! Shame on you #iHeartAwards for allowing @iamjamiefoxx to be transphobic on national television! Those #BruceJenner jokes were wrong!!!'.

Another Twitter user wrote: 'That transphobic joke about Bruce Jenner was not necessary & not funny at all #iHeartRadioMusicAwards.'
Jenner's daughter Kylie was reportedly supposed to be attending the awards with her rapper boyfriend Tyga, according to a picture posted before the event which showed placecards with their names attached to chairs at the venue. However, it's unclear if she showed up to the event since Kylie wasn't spotted on the red carpet Sunday night.
Daily Mail Online reached out to iHeartMedia and the production company which puts on the annual awards, Done + Dusted, for comment about the joke but we did not receive an immediate response.
A source close to the family recently told People that his sons Burt, Brandon and Brody are giving their dad their blessing, as well as step daughter Kim Kardashian.
However, Kendall Jenner recently denied that she spoke about her father's transition, after a publication claimed she had said she would 'always love' Bruce whether 'he's a man or a woman'.
