Broadway actors were called a 'n****r and f****t' by New York taxi driver - then ARRESTED when they demanded he let them out

Broadway actors Christina Sajous and Ethan Paulini abused by taxi driver were arrested

  • Actors Christina Sajous and Ethan Paulini are suing driver and four officers
  • Suit says New York driver Gregory Adolph called them a 'n*****' and 'f*****'
  • Four officers also named in the Manhattan suit for wrongly arresting them
  • Actors' lawyer insists it's a clear case of 'inappropriate police conduct'

Two American actors have filed a lawsuit against a New York taxi driver for making racist and homophobic comments before having them arrested for skipping the fare.

Christina Sajous, who appeared in Broadway show Spiderman: Turn off the Dark, hailed a cab with fellow actor Ethan Paulini on the night of September 11, 2014, according to the suit filed at Manhattan Federal Court.

Although bound for Harlem, the driver Gregory Adolph refused to take the West Side Highway.

When Sajous, 30, told the driver he had to follow the route they requested, he allegedly replied, ‘I don’t have to do anything for a n*****’.

Stunned, 34-year-old Paulini said: ‘What did you say?’

But according to the court documents, Adolph replied: ‘Now the f***** got something to say.’

The disgusted pair insisted the driver let them out immediately, near Central Park West, and claim they paid him $20 for a $19.50 fare.

But Adolph, 35, insisted they complete the journey, because he wanted the full fare, reported the NY Daily News.

He allegedly said he didn’t want to pick up another passenger going downtown from the ‘filthy n***** neighborhood’.

Although the actors threatened to call the police, the driver allegedly replied: ‘Who would believe a n***** and a f*****?’

Sajous and Paulini decided to continue their journey by subway, but found themselves surrounded by four officers on the platform who asked them to return to the street.

Driver Adolph had told the officers the pair deliberately skipped paying the fare, according to the suit.

Paulini said he gave the taxi driver another $20, saying: ‘If this makes you go away, please take it. Now I paid it twice.’

The suit claims he then reached into his pocket to show the officers a receipt to prove he had paid the fare already.

‘Never put your hands in your pockets around a police officer,’ one of the officers allegedly shouted.

Paulini says he tried to explain himself but the police officer allegedly told him to ‘show it to the judge’ as he pushed him inside the police car.

Both actors were charged for resisting arrest and skipping the fare, but the charges were thrown out last year, said their lawyer Douglas Grover.

‘This is really an egregious example of inappropriate police conduct,’ he added.

Both are seeking damages from the driver and the four officers named in the lawsuit.

The American hate and racism, is not difined by what type of taxi you take, its difined by institutional organized hatred for blacks all across America all the way back to the 1600 hundreds
