Bounty Killer is a free man

The DJ who has been dubbed as cross, angry and miserable now has a reason to smile as he can put the assault court case behind him.

Yesterday, Rodney Pryce aka Bounty Killer who was charged after allegedly beating his girlfriend during a domestic dispute, walked free from the Corporate Area Criminal Court

Prosecutors were forced to drop the charges after the complainant, Kadene Baker, told the court that she did not wish to pursue the matter against Bounty Killa, whose real name is Rodney Pryce.

Bounty, the self-described "Warlord", was arrested and charged in April with assault occasioning bodily harm stemming from a dispute with Ms Baker.

Bounty, who has had several run-ins with the police, has more cases pending before the courts.

In one of these cases, he is accused of pulling a gun on a policeman during an altercation in New Kingston.

That matter is now before the Gun Court.
