Bobbi Kristina Tells Oprah Winfrey Her Deceased Mother Whitney Houston Turns Lights On & Off In Her House "Mom What Are You Doing?" [Video]

Bobbi Kristina Brown Looks To Distance Herself From Her Dad Bobby Brown By Changing Her Name To Kristina Houston

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina is obviously going through a tough time since the loss of her mother several weeks ago. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired Sunday [March 11] the 19-year old says she can still feel her mom's presence in her home.

"Throughout the house lights turn on and off and I'm like, 'Mom what are you doing?'" she told Oprah. "I can still sit there and laugh with her. I can still sit there and talk to her."

Oprah responded by simply saying: "wow."

The rift between Bobby Brown and his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown appears to be widening.

Bobbi is Brown's only child with late singer Whitney Houston. TMZ  is reporting that the 19-year old wants nothing to do with him and that includes having his name.

According to the report, Bobbi has wanted to change her name for some some time, but her mother wouldn't let her. Now that Whitney is gone Bobbi is free to do as she pleases and wants to be known simply as Kristina Houston.

What a retard, don't you see everyone has much more to do with their time then to read your trash on every forum?? Most of these same people are in the same forums I go to STUPID they read and correspond. Your the only one mad at the facts and the truth. Your slander does not change that. You (like many of your type) just don't like facing the truth, you are one of those problem women. Just look at what your doing here.

Your actions are self explanatory... lol But your so far removed from reality that denial has you once again pointing the finger at yet, someone else.

@evolution : That's right.. Too many women these days have subscribed to the "family destruction theory" that this Western World has beat in our minds, especially our black women. That girl needs her father! Now more then ever, this is why all of the foolishness is going on.... And people talkin all this abuse non-sense, that is totally out of place and inaccurate. They had fights mental and physical, that was their relationship (like many people), but it was always known that she was doing a lot of hitting, they talked about it. (and it wasn't him being jealous, it was him getting caught cheating mainly, so she would initiate it)The 1st time she called the cops was most likely the time he had enough and clocked her as in many situations, in domestic disputes. Its been common for females to push their luck because they feel they have the law behind them. But there's always that day when a dude will get sick of it, bang you on reflex because of how you hit him, or is simply not in the mood. As they say, "you corner a cat, it has no choice but to fight back".

Also, I love Whitney to death but that doesnt mean she was the greatest parent in the world (just like many out here). Giving your child everything, being soft all the time or easily manipulated by your child makes you a bad parent. They are not your peers, you can be friendly but they really aren't your "friend", (girlfriend/homie/BFF) because they are not your equal. That's your child, you are their teacher, certain things they shouldn't know or hear until the right time, then there's other things you must tell them, and its your job to tell them 1st.. Stern rules and regulations are paramount (fathers in the home usually puts that foot down, that's why it all falls apart if the child feels that they can go around him. Females not understanding everyone's roles helps to erode the structure in the house.) And the more money you have the harder it is to be stern in many cases. Its the freedom. I'm sure there was a lot that Whitney tried to do but she was also trying to catch up for a while and also fix herself for years too.

So far this child is the only one being bashed on this blog. Why ppl not putting the responsibility on the father to step up and try to repair the relationship with his daughter. Are we telling children it doesn't matter what your parents do to you you should forgive them anyway. Let's face it some parents fail their children. Whitney may have made mistakes but she never walked away from her daughter.
I am not Oprah's biggest fan but I think if ppl were accusing
me of something I didn't do I would want to clear the air. The family had nothing bad to say about Bobby. All the stuff ppl were fussing about was what mainstream media reported when they haven't even spoke to the family. I applaud the family for clearing the air. I think Oprah was the best person to do the interview with

@Military Diplomat @Cee Gee @Carl d lynch @Caron S. Chung: I agree with you guys, Im glad there's some people here that understand whats really important. It hurts and is very disappointing knowing the low mental level our people think on these days. It clearly says Western Society basically has total control of our minds on the very root of our existence. Culture, tradition and family.. They have our women feeling like they never need their men or a man to the point that they now always encourage children to break away from their father. (No one knows what went on in their Houston-Brown house but them.) And kids think like kids and are very influential, the last thing they need in these situations is negativity from others to fuel this childish behavior... They also have us half parenting, allowing children to raise themselves (pretty-much just feeding them, buying fast food, b/c the parents are lazy or side tracked with bullsh*t, usually). We're looking and acting (copying) off of other races (Europeans), even when most can never be accomplished so the only thing that happens is they get paid from our constant dollar (billions yearly) while we look stupid being wannabes. Its gotten so bad that we are now believing that we can pick whatever sex or gender we choose to be, and most of all a family unit functioning as one, is no longer important. We're in a very sad state, we have so much more, but don't do half of what we use to do for us that's helpful to us...

As for Oprah, wow, people actually still believe in this devil? How can anyone even began to think that a person that will do anything for fame and money (selling her soul) would ever have the best interests for another? If she was looking out for Bobbi Kristina, she wouldn't have bothered anyone this early for an interview. Take her under her wing? LOL, by what? Getting her involved with the very thing Whitney fought and was murdered for just like M.J.? That Illuminism crap? Please...People gotta wake up... Its easy to see why we keep experiencing death, pain and hurt all throughout our lives, in our community and abroad...

Whitney Houston's passing was tragic and very sad however, I think the family need to keep themselves out of the spotlight.  Enough already with the daily reports and interviews.  They need to pull back, fade away, huddle amongst themselves to support her mother and her daughter.  Who are they pleasing with these interviews? It is really just too much scrutiny now and they are continuing to allow the media/public into their lives too much! Stop the circus!  These are precious lives.
