Antonio Brown Leaks Texts To Bucs Head Coach: Health Over Wealth
Earlier this month, #AntonioBrown made headlines after he left the field while taking off his uniform during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the New York Jets. He was later formally released from the team, and many people have shared their thoughts about the situation. While in discussion about the moment, people have questioned Antonio’s mental health, and now he’s addressing the speculations head-on.
In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of #IAmAthlete, Antonio spoke about the moment. #BrandonMarshall explained how he would have handled things with Bruce Arians under the circumstances that Antonio previously described. Antonio responded and said, “That’s the mental health coming in right there. Everyone in the world got a different form of reaction to what happened to me. And it’s based upon where you from, how you feel, and no one only gonna know that regard of who you is.”
He expanded the conversation on mental health and CTE and said, “The things with football players’ mental health and CTE is this, these guys are willing to do whatever it takes to make some obligation game. In the midst of those games, along that journey, they’re being mistreated. There’s a lot of stuff that went on that may have not been handled right.”
ANTONIO BROWN SIGNED FAN'S COVID-19 VAX CARD ... Before Final Bucs Game
Antonio Brown has leaked text messages he sent to Tampa Bay's head team coach Bruce Arians the day before he was released.
"We ARE NOT resting for the playoffs," said Arians.
Brown then told the coach that while he'd like to play, his ankle had not fully healed.
"Come see me in the morning," Arians responded. "We'll talk it out. Definitely want you with us in case you're ready."
"Health over Wealth # Barbarian," he tweeted along with pictures of a trainer helping him work on his ankle.
Brown later tweeted, "Don't get it twisted. My brothers have been good to me. From Tom to practice squad, we were a top-level unit," he tweeted. "They have been good to me and knew nothing about my talks with coach last week. The team mishandled this situation. They let me down and, more importantly, my teammates."
Brown was released after he refused to play in a recent game.
Antonio Brown is seen smiling in a chauffeur-driven car in New York after storming off the field during mid-game meltdown: Star appears in good spirits despite being booted from Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2:54 PM PT -- AB was spotted outside MetLife Stadium shortly after his exit ... wearing the same clothes he wore when arriving to the game, and his luggage by his side.
It appears he's waiting for a car service to pick him up and presumably take him to the airport ... considering there was no way the team was gonna let him fly home on the Bucs' plane.
Antonio Brown was seen smiling in a car driven by a chauffeur on social media in New York City after leaving his Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-game on Sunday against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Brown, 33, was kicked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a bizarre, shirtless exit from the field before Tom Brady coolly led the Bucs on a 93-yard drive in the final minutes for a 28-24 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.
Coach Bruce Arians said after the game that Brown was off the team.
'He is no longer a Buc,' Arians said.
New Jersey State Police told DailyMail.com they had escorted Brown to the airport at the Buccaneers' request, however, hours after the game he was seen in New York City being driven by a chauffeur.
Danny Chalet, who's handle is @Dannyboyhustlehard with over 10,000 followers on Instagram, is seen driving around Brown throughout the city in multiple videos. He's known as a chauffeur for other NFL players like Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham, Jr.
'When my brother call me I'm there…' Chalet wrote. 'You know how I'm coming..'
He's then seen in a series of videos with Brown including one with the former player on his phone smiling in the back of Chalet's car.
'Sound off for you clowns!!' Chalet joked at the idea of leaving Brown hanging when he was in need of a ride.
Chalet also poked fun at an Instagram post made by the Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take suggesting Brown left in an Uber.
'Nah, he was waiting for me Cheech!'
Brown - who released rap songs under the name AB in 2020, including one with a feature from Rick Ross - released a song later in the evening called 'Pit Not the Palace.'

Brown tweeted out a photo of himself without Bucs gear but fully dressed following the game with only the caption: 'super-gremlin.'
Desmond Brown, Antonio's younger brother, told the Daily Caller this was a reference to a new song by the Florida rapper Kodak Black.
'A rapper that's from Florida near from where we're from,' he explained. 'It's a song about being betrayed by people that was close to you.'
Desmond believes Arians was the one who Antonio thinks betrayed him but doesn't 'want to point any fingers because [he] could be wrong.' He also said he 'thought AB wasn't gonna play today because [he] thought he had hurt his ankle. So maybe that has something to do with it.'
The wide receiver also posted twice to Instagram, where he reportedly unfollowed the team account and Brady's, in addition to the photo he'd already posted on Twitter.
'Football is what we do, not who we are! Love,' wrote Brown before thanking Nova Fashion, while wearing a camouflage outfit made by Nova.
He then posted another with him in his jersey, saying: 'Big MAD (Making A Difference). Thanks for the opportunity'

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported after the game that Arians said he was trying to get Brown to go into game and that Brown refused. Arians tried again, Brown refused and Arians told him to get out.
'Never seen anything like it in all my years,' the veteran coach added.
Several commenters worried for Brown's mental health, noting that Brown suffered a grade 1 concussion in a January 2016 playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals on a vicious hit to the head by Cincinnati's Vontaze Burfect.
'Obviously a difficult situation,' added Brady of his now former teammate Brown. 'We all love him'
Since then, many have noticed Brown's behavior become more erratic.
