Angela Rye Goes In on Former Congressman For Saying "Bar Was Lowered For Obama" {VIDEO}

CNN commentator Angela Rye had no patience for former Congressman Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) when he said the bar was lowered for President Barack Obama because of his race.

I’m not talking to bigots,” Rye said during a CNN segment Wednesday.

Rye and Walsh were invited on air to discuss what started as a Twitter fight. In response to Rye saying that Obama “had to be the next best thing to Jesus” during his presidency, Walsh argued that the president was held to a lower standard during his two terms because he is black.

When Walsh repeatedly defended his comment, Rye succinctly responded, “That’s what makes you a bigot!

White supremists, If they're so smart how come they cant redo the ACA. It took a BLACK PRESIDENT, a Black Man, to bring it to fruition. If you dont believe me, Look at the 24 million people who were protesting (most of tbem were white) in fear of losing it.. White Supremists need to lower the bar for themselves. Oh wait, they already have, That's how Trump got in.

Angela Rye was correct. Ask yourself this, would CNN give a member of black panthers (not terrorists, community helpers, a group demonized by white supremacists) a seat on a panel? Would CNN give a member of ISIS (terrorist created by white supremacy) a seat on a panel? No and no! But CNN always gives white supremacists a seat on their panel because it boots their ratings in middle America. I'm just waiting for David Duke to show up to talk about black lives matter and his daughter's love for white men who look like him.

@jonathan anderson

Unfortunately, some black folks are so conditioned by white supremacy, that they believe you have to burn down the whole house to clean the toilet. That's 1 main reason they voted for Trump. It doesn't make sense at all. Especially when you think about it historically, that the white supremacy has been burning down black neighborhoods only to create a white neighborhood on the property next door (Central Park). To date, black folks still have not recovered from the community-wide destruction by the white man and by the black man.

Angela Rye was on point and tore down every stupidity that Walsh had to say.

She asked why was this bigot given a platform to even speak when his tweet was so racist.

We must create more of our own media outlets so that we have more platforms to express ourselves and balance the stupidity, racism and bigotry we get from the media on a daily basis.

I feel President Trump will be the best thing that has happened for Black Americans with the realization not to expect any special attention or assistance, and with Ms. Clinton, It would have been business as usual with the Republicans trying to block every effort she would make.

The character of President Obama's efforts has done so much toward the empowerment of our Black Family.

It is hard to imagine what America will be like now he is gone, especially for US!

Now,  Obama is out office, we have to do like Harriet Tubman...

I just Love it when They reveal Themselves!

What Obama did,  he left the State of the Union in better shape, than he inherited.

President Obama: The Fall Guy

President Obama, as the CEO, had to follow the mandates of the Corporate Board of Directors.

Obama controlled nothing, it is the USA Corporations that are in Control.

The character of President Obama's efforts has done so much toward the empowerment of our Black Family.

The System perpetrates that Black Men are not to be trusted, with President Obama it has been two steps forward, and individuals like Dr. Cosby have placed themselves in the position to put Us a step backwards defending him.

Obama's image to the World, if given the opportunity, that We can achieve to the highest levels of their System.

Imagine the poor ignorant and racist in America are supporting the Wealthy and the Republicans, "Cutting off their nose to spite their face, solely because Obama is Black."

How can today's White Christian ministers who profess to be the guiding spiritual light for their parishioners knowingly attack or remain silent to the truth of the horrendous legacy, in regard to the injustices of slavery in America's past history?

We are taught to accept the Holocaust, but we are encouraged to forget the atrocities and the injustices perpetrated on the millions of Native Americans, Africans, Asians and Mexicans on which this nation's prosperity was built.

Christians who still hold on to the old prejudices of the past are making a mockery of the death of Christ and His sacrifice, a Dream Deferred.
