Alabama KKK Rolls Include Politicians, Teachers, Medical Professionals, Military (VIDEO)

After eight months of negotiations, a BBC film crew was granted permission to conduct exclusive interviews with members of one of the United States’ most notorious hate groups, the Ku Klux Klan.

Located in rural Alabama, the Loyal White Knights claims to be the largest and most powerful KKK chapter in the country. Leaders of the Klan claim their membership rolls include politicians, teachers, hospital staff and others, saying, “Most of the majority of our people are in the military. We all have our concealed weapons permits.”

Going on, one of the men interviewed said:

“There’s going to be a great war – I won’t call it a Civil War – it’ll be anything but that. It’ll be an uncivil war. You’ll see a bunch of Americans getting killed and blown up.”

He goes on to say:

“It’ll be a matter of time, we gonna take America back.”

According to film maker Dan Murdoch:

“Many of the Klansmen I met are convinced that a violent, all-out race war is on the horizon. I met Klansmen training armed militias for that moment. To them race war is very real.”

Using the standard propaganda set forth by all right-wing hate groups including the American Nazi Party, the Ku Klux Klan, anti-Muslims groups, anti-immigration groups, anti-gay groups and the GOP/Tea Party, from beneath a white hood one of the members claimed:

“America was founded as a Christian nation and they’re attacking our Christian values.”

While Klan members refused to give the names of political leaders they claim belong to the Loyal White Knights, it isn’t all that hard to spot them in a crowd. All you need to do is listen for the Nazi propaganda.

The tactic of manipulating people through religion has been used by various hate groups throughout the centuries, but the technique was perfected in Nazi Germany. Hitler understood all too well how that the most efficient way to convince people to perpetrate evil upon their fellow man is to convince them that they’re doing it for God.

“Only in the steady and constant application of force lies the very first prerequisite for success. This persistence, however, can always and only arise from a definite spiritual conviction. Any violence which does not spring from a firm, spiritual base, will be wavering and uncertain.”

-Adolf Hitler (Mein Kampf)

“The greatness of every mighty organization embodying an idea in this world lies in the religious fanaticism and intolerance with which, fanatically convinced of its own right, it intolerantly imposes its will against all others.”

-Adolf Hitler (Mein Kampf)

Indeed, when speaking of Hitler, one of the klansmen interviewed for the film put forth the idea that Auschwitz was like a summer camp, where the Nazis simply tried to “rehabilitate” the Jews.

“Adolf Hitler was one of the smartest men there ever was. At these death camps they gave the so-called people that were being killed cigarettes, there was coffee, there was a movie theatre, there was a library, and even a swimming pool in Auschwitz. If you’re going to sit there and kill all these people then how come all these things would be in there, it’s more like a summer camp.”

The documentary, called KKK: The Fight For White Supremacy will be shown on BBC, on Monday, September 28. Check here to find a list of local stations and airing times.

While the documentary presents a chilling look underneath the hoods of the KKK, what’s more chilling is the fact that there is very little difference between the official KKK agenda and that of the GOP/Tea Party. Right wing political leaders have softened the message, to make it more palatable to voters.

The KKK agenda includes:

  1. “The recognition that America was founded as a Christian nation.”
  2. “The recognition that America was founded as a white nation.”
  3. “Abolish all affirmative action programs.”
  4. “Put American Troops on the Borders and Stop the Flood of Illegals.”
  5. “Abolish all anti-gun laws and encourage every adult to own a weapon.”
  6. “Drug testing all welfare recipients.”
  7. “Privatization of the public school system.”
  8. “Restoring individual freedom to Christian America.”
  9. “Sovereignty of the states.”
  10. Outlaw abortion.
  11. Outlaw homosexuality.

The list of similarities between what mainstream GOP/Tea Party politicians stand for and what the KKK stands for goes on and on. The entire list can be seen here.

While it’s nice to think that the KKK is confined to the back woods of rural Alabama, this exact same agenda is deeply embedded in the U.S. political system. It’s being shoved down our throats by state and local politicians, and championed by GOP and Tea Party leaders in Washington. They don’t have to sign their names to the roster to be loyal to every single item on the Ku Klux Klan’s agenda.

The politicians that espouse these views may be dressed in suits and ties, but no-one should be surprised if it turns out there’s a hood and a white robe hanging at the back of any republican politician’s closet.
